This past weekend was such a mix of high and low emotions. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen my post on Sunday that it was just a tough weekend emotionally. Just a lot going on right now… but overall, it was a good weekend just spending much needed time with my family on both sides. My in-laws came for dinner on Saturday and then after church on Sunday, we spent the day with my sister, brother-in-law, nephew, and my aunt.
I’m just being reminded so much lately of the briefness of life. There is no guarantee of tomorrow. Spend your days and spend your time loving people. Hug your family and friends. Tell them you love them… often. Don’t let old grudges stand. Repair broken relationships. Invest in people.
These moments we have are fleeting and it’s just so important, now more than ever, to treasure each and every second that we have.
As my dear friend Zach Arnold, who passed away all too soon this weekend, once said:
“Love is fantastic. It’s a credit card without limit. Spend that love as much as you can. Spend it with your friends, your family. Spend it with those who you don’t even think you should spend it on.” -Zach Arnold
I couldn’t have said it better myself.
I love your Lilly shorts! I have some similar ones from LOFT that I need to wear more often… Molly, I am so sorry to hear about your loss and wanted to thank you for sharing that wonderful quote from your friend.
I’m so sorry for your loss. You, your family, and your friends will be in my prayers. I hope next weekend is a better one.
