My love for printed leggings only continues to grow. And, the truth is, I’m sorry I’m not sorry. ESPECIALLY during pregnancy, comfy, soft, and stretchy leggings have been my saving grace. I will also say this again, leggings can be worn as pants AS LONG AS YOU ARE COVERED. I’m talking below the bum. So tunics, long tees, long sweaters, long cardigans, even short dresses… all fair game with leggings.
I love how much fun I feel in a cute pair of printed leggings, too. Seriously. I have so much fun in them! These are NOT maternity leggings, they’re just so stretchy that they fit great over my growing belly. 🙂
This particular outfit is also a favorite of mine because I LOVE the colors. I don’t know why I don’t wear green more often because every time I do I think… “Man, I should really wear green more often!” Haha!
This particular outfit is perfect for throwing on when you’re just hanging out around the house, heading out to drop off or pick up your kids from school, or even running any general errands. You look put together, but you feel like you’re in your jammies. And THAT, ladies and gents, is a WIN!
Also, I wanted to answer a question that I’ve gotten from some of you (and this is a question I actually had myself, so hopefully this will be helpful!). While the majority of LulaRoe’s clothing is made in the United States, their leggings are, in fact, made in China. At first I was very concerned about this but decided to do some research and find out more for myself. It turns out that China actually holds the patent on the machine that makes the leggings so buttery soft. And yes, there are a lot of companies that use this machine out of China.
While it’s not ideal that the leggings are made there, the factories ARE, in fact, vetted. What this means is that the LulaRoe executives have gone and visited the factories, they have close relationships with the factory owners, the workers are paid a fair wage, work in safe conditions, and are also working in quality standards. It’s also important to note that I am not a LulaRoe consultant… I just love the brand and try to do my homework as best as I can. LulaRoe does the best they can to make sure that the factories operate in such a way that they are providing jobs and opportunity where it’s needed most and that workers are able to provide for their families in a dignified way. Personally, I think that’s great!
So, just wanted to share that piece of information with you! I do not claim to be an expert on the subject by any stretch of the imagination, but from the research and digging I have done, I feel confident in the way the brand is run and love the clothes! I also love supporting my dear friends who have ventured into their own business. 🙂
I hope that is helpful for y’all!
Anyway! What about you? Have you tried the printed leggings “trend” yet? If you’re pregnant, what’s your go-to outfit these days?
PS: I’m hosting an online LulaRoe popup shop with my friends Kelly and Sally this weekend (the day after Christmas) and the party will be up for a couple days! Feel free to join in on the fun and shop all weekend while you’re cozied up in your jammies hanging out and relaxing. 🙂
PPS: You also know my love for Alex and Ani! (I wear my A&A bracelets EVERY day!) Well, they just recently launched a mobile app and it’s BEAUTIFUL and amazing!! Download the ALEX AND ANI app today!
Happy Wednesday!
Nice blog! I have the leggings in your pictures but I am about to give up on finding tops to match! I would appreciate any suggestions. I do not even know what color green the background is but it is pretty! Thank you!
Would navy go with them? Thank you!
Navy would totally work! Any color that you see in the leggings would work 🙂
Thank you!!
So cute! Did you get the OS or TC for leggings during pregnancy?
I wear TC during pregnancy and not pregnant 🙂
Awesome! I am pretty short so the T doesn’t apply but the C most definitely does. I didn’t know if the length would cause it to be wonky on me but I’m guessing that hemming is always a possibility 🙂
I am 5’3″ I just prefer the fit of tc
I can’t wait for the popup this weekend! I’m so excited.
LLR is amazing! Way better than maternity clothes and even more awesome because you can wear it all after baby!
