Life gets busy. We get busy. Every single person I know is… busy. Sometimes I think (okay, I KNOW) we let our business take over and we forget to slow down and spend time with people we love and just listen. We forget to call old friends, we forget to touch base with family, and we forget to tell the people in our lives who are making a difference how much we appreciate them or how much they mean to us.
I’ve really been trying to do better about this… TRUST ME, I do not have it figured out and I’m nowhere near the point I’d like to be… but I’m doing what I can to just say THANK YOU to the people in my life who I appreciate.
I don’t EVER want the people I love to feel like I take them for granted or like I don’t appreciate them or for them to question whether or not they are loved by me. Do you know what I mean? I mean, think about it… when was the last time you called someone just to say HEY or to catch up or to touch base or to say, “Just wanted to tell you I love you.“?
One of my FAVORITE brands, Threads 4 Thought is doing their part to spread the love and spread the THANKS this November… they are hosting a Give a Thanks contest encouraging people to nominate people that are making a difference in their lives!! You guys… this is SOOOOO cool! I LOVE what they are doing…
So, anyway, my girl Carly and I have teamed up with Threads 4 Thought this week as a part of our weekly link up!
(I’ve featured Threads4Thought a TON… even did a #FashionForGood Friday post!)
Why do we love Threads 4 Thought? Because they are LITERALLY changing the fashion industry with every piece they create (and every piece we buy). Threads 4 Thought is a full lifestyle brand comprised of adorable pieces that are produced responsibly & support sustainable initiatives. They are a certified B Corporation, which means that they are making every effort to use business as a force for good. Their goal? To create pieces that humans love and to help the planet at the same time. At their factories in China, Kenya and India, they pay living wages, and treat employees with respect and dignity.
So how do you enter the #T4TGiveThanks Campaign over the holidays? You can enter with a video or picture post on Instagram (using the #T4TGiveThanks hashtag) or fill out the entry form HERE!!!! HOW awesome is that?!?! Who are you going to nominate?!
*This post is not sponsored, but was done in partnership with Threads 4 Thought… for this particular post, in exchange for sharing about their #GiveAThanks campaign, Threads 4 Thought is making a $250 donation to my favorite non-profit, Transforming Hope Ministries. I loved that I was able to team up with Carly and T4T to give back in a unique way!

Hey Molly-
did you find that the shirts ran small or large? I really like the sweater you have on! The sizing guide suggests a different size than I normally am.
I am usually a size 14 and I wear a large in TFT and they fit me well 🙂
What a great giveaway! I love the back of your top, very pretty.

It can be so hard to stay in touch with our busy lives! Thank you for the reminder to reach out and check on those I care about. 🙂
I love T4T! You look amazing here! Taking time out for what matters is always important.

Love this post and at a great time like Thanksgiving!
Love this! There have been a couple times recently I’ve just been so wrapped up in work but I’ve had to take a few steps back and say, “No, it can wait, I’ve got to spend time with friends and loved ones tonight,” and it’s always worth it.
Also this is such a cool campaign by Threads 4 Thought!
What an amazing look. I love that tee. I will have to say that I am giving thanks for all the blogging friends who have encouraged me this year. And you are one of them.
I love the back of your tee!
Thank you for sharing this post! I truly admire your transparency and honesty in this post. I’m guilty as well for getting too busy with life. Which reminds me, I need to call my girlfriend and catch up! Thanks for hosting the link up as well.
What a great brand and campaign for the holidays! It gives you a little incentive to thank someone for what they do!
That’s why I love to call or send snail mail because it always cheers someone up. Life is busy but I’m never that busy to not do that with my friends & family. Love your outfit!
love this whole outfit!

I feel like we all use the busy excuse. I myself do often and it’s a good reminder to not! I love that necklace with your whole look!

This is such a good reminder. I’m not always the best at letting people know I appreciate them.
