The Best Double Stroller for a Baby & Toddler – Chicco BravoFor2 Double Stroller Review

When Amos was first born, I went back and forth on whether or not to get a double stroller. I knew it would be an investment and I just wasn’t honestly sure how much I would use one.
So many double strollers out there are, in a lot of ways, designed for twins. Or, if they aren’t designed for twins, they seem to work better for kids around the same age. And sure, you can buy attachments for certain double strollers that allow you to put an infant car seat in them, but I didn’t really want to do that.
I knew I wanted a double stroller that was not side-by-side. I think side-by-side strollers are great for jogging, but from my friends who have had side-by-side strollers, they said they were really challenging to maneuver in everyday situations. They’re tough to get through doorways, through aisles, in malls, stores, etc. They’re also really big and bulky!
Lilly has also never really liked riding in a stroller… so I knew I wanted a stroller that allowed for sitting OR standing for her. The more I researched what I wanted, the more I realized that what I wanted was actually really hard to find.
Enter the Chicco BravoFor2 double stroller.
This is a brand new double stroller on the market and before I’d even tried it, on paper, it literally fit all my wants, needs, and features.
- Not side by side? Check!
- Five-point harness seat for baby? Check!
- Lots of cup holders? CHECK! (It has FOUR!)
- Snack tray? Check!
- Large basket? Check!
- Ability for toddler / older kid (up to 40 pounds) to sit OR stand? Check!
- Big shade (that you can easily remove!)? Check!
- Lightweight? Check! (I mean, about as lightweight as a double stroller can be!)
- Folds easily and is compact? Check! Check!
We have been using this stroller every day for a couple weeks and I love it. I’ve used it at the mall, at preschool pick up and drop off, taking Lilly to dance class, running errands, going for walks in our neighborhood, at the museum, etc. We have put this thing through the wringer and I love, love, LOVE it! (Did I mention that I love it?)
Lilly absolutely LOVES this stroller. She gets so excited to go for rides!! Plus, I mean… how cool is she? 🙂 
I love the cup holders and I love the accessory holder. It fits my phone, my keys, chapstick, cards, etc. I also love that it zips closed.
This stroller folds SO EASILY. I can do it with one hand. The handle is just pull and go! 
I also wanted to show you guys how well it compacts… This is it fully folded WITH the shade attached and it fits so easily in my trunk (with tons of room to spare).
The BravoFor2 retails for under $300, so it’s one of the more affordable double strollers out there and is available on ChiccoShop.com, as well as in stores and online from both Babies”R”Us and Target! May I also say that some of these strollers have got other
accessories that are quite compatible to your baby needs. Therefore if you find
that the stroller accessories that your favorite stroller brand offers are on
the high, you can always buy a compatible option. Buying online is a great way
to find the most fantastic options to go with.
Are current stroller storage is very good. Im loving the large storage basket. Really loving the standing platform my little guy would think he is riding a ride!
The BravoFor2 double stroller would be a life change for me because I don’t have a double stroller right now and whenever I’m out with two kiddos I have to babywear and use a stroller. It would be so nice to just use one stroller!

This looks awesome! Thanks for writing up a review about it! Our stroller broke and I’ve been heartbroken over it since the weather is so nice now. We haven’t wanted to spend the money on a new stroller just yet since we just found out we have baby #2 on the way.
We have baby #2 coming in the fall and this would make life so much easier since my 3 year old is hit and miss with the stroller. I love that it is small and compact but still gives the option for standing/sitting.
I feel like this stroller would be a LIFESAVER for a bunch of upcoming cross country trips I have flying solo with my toddler and 5 month old.

I need a compact easy folding stroller for my toddlers ! This is amazing because it needs to fit in my trunk for trips to museums and the parks
My daughters are 3 and 1 and I thought I could get away without getting a double stroller too. With summer coming though… I’m realizing I’m going to need one!! I’ve been researching but haven’t found anything that seems to really fit the bill… this one looks awesome and I love that it isn’t hugely expensive either… good find 🙂
