7 of the Best Ethical Lifestyle & Beauty Subscription Boxes
I love subscription boxes! I am a huge fan of getting something fun in the mail and especially when it’s filled with surprises, it’s even more fun! For months I was searching for ethical subscription box options and I was coming up short. I wanted a subscription box that was filled with ethically made or fair trade products, or a beauty subscription box that’s filled with cruelty free and non-toxic beauty products. There aren’t a ton of options out there! BUT, I have found a few along the way that I really love and so I thought I would share my favorites with you.
Here are 7 of the Best Ethical Lifestyle & Beauty Subscription Boxes
CAUSEBOX
I have written about CAUSEBOX a ton on this blog because, well, I love it. It’s a quarterly subscription box that contains very selective, limited edition, socially conscious products for women who are passionate about knowing where their products come from. Every box has a “theme.” You can read past reviews on my CAUSEBOX boxes here… You can also hear my podcast with founder Matt Richardson here.
Price point: ~$49.95 per box – use code “stillbeingmolly” for $10 off your first box
GlobeIn
GlobeIn is another subscription box that I’ve shared about on the blog before. The GlobeIn artisan box is a monthly subscription box that is filled with extremely unique, beautiful, and intentional fair trade items. The artisan groups that GlobeIn supports are all in developing nationals around the world. Each box has a theme and the items are selected around that theme. You can also hear my podcast with founder Liza Moiseeva here.
Price point: ~$35-$40 per month (use code “stillbeingmolly” for $10 off a 3-month subscription)
Love Goodly
Love Goodly is a bi-monthly beauty subscription box that is filled with eco-friendly, vegan, natural, cruelty free, and non-toxic products. Additionally, for each purchase made, Love Goodly supports a variety or non-profits and charities that are close to their hearts… You can learn more about them here!
Price point: ~$29.95 per box
Purpose Box
The Purpose Box is a bi-monthly subscription box that is filled with “purchase with purpose” items that are hand-selected. All of the items in the box have their own story and their own purpose. Each box also has a featured purpose. For example, the inaugural box featured a family from Austin, Texas, pursuing a domestic adoption. All proceeds from the box were donated to that featured purpose.
Price point: ~$40 per box
Fair Trade Friday
I am, admittedly, a little biased towards Fair Trade Friday because I have seen first hand the work that Mercy House is doing in Kenya. Fair Trade Friday is a subscription box filled with beautiful fair trade goods (jewelry, home, lifestyle) and the box benefits Mercy House, a maternity home in Kenya. You can read my whole post I wrote on them last year or listen to my podcast that I did with Kristen Welch (part 1 and part 2).
Price point: ~$12.99-$32.99 per box
bonJOY
bonJOY is a subscription box focusing on fashion, beauty, and living goods from brands that focus on making a social impact. They carefully curate products that do good for trafficked, exploited, and at-risk women around the world.
Price point: ~$19-$50 per box
Benevolent Beauty Box
Benevolent Beauty Box is a beauty subscription box where each month you get carefully curated beauty items that are 100% cruelty free. You can select a “mini” box that has 2-3 full-sized items, or the VIP box which has 4-7 full-sized items.
Price point: ~$15.95-$29.95 per box
Molly, I love this post! I think those subscription boxes are a neat idea, but I’m particular about ethical sourcing so I love that you put this post together!
Thanks for sharing these with us. Love.

I have been seeing these kind of boxes lately and I absolutely love this idea. I rather help someone than just buy a whatever box.
