  1. Ehrmagerd! Thers berts er ferrrrberlerse!!!! OK, now that I’m done entertaining myself…
Yes, we all have a calling. God may not be calling us to far away lands, but He is absolutely calling us to serve our neighbors, our workplace, and our communities. Not too deep for a Thursday. Well said, Merlly! 😉

  2. I LOVE your boots and I love the title of the post 🙂 And this was such an inspiring post…I know I struggle with the same thing…figuring out my plan, etc, I think most of us do, and it’s great to have a reminder to keep working toward the plan, whatever it may be 🙂

  3. I hear ya. There are times when I feel so lost, I don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing and I wonder what direction I’m supposed to head. It does all seem to become clear after some time (usually after the fact) 🙂 But like you, I just keep pressing on. I do notice that the more faith I have, the more positivity and optimism I have, the more things turn out well. Not always, but a lot of the time. 🙂

  4. I like the deep thoughts. I struggle with this, as well. I also truly believe God has a path for each of us. We all have our own unique talents/gifts/blessings for a purpose. Knowing what that purpose is, though? Oh my gosh. Hardest thing ever. If only God could send an email… 😉

  5. I know exactly what you mean! All I’ve been trying to do lately is figure out what to do with my life. Sometimes it seems like there’ll just never be a right fit. But I do agree that every time I explore something my vision at the end of the tunnel gets clearer. Even now that I’m officially pushing forward with my blog and working harder, I feel more at ease, like it’s all starting to make a little more sense.
I have faith that as long as we push ourselves forward, work hard, and remain open to the gentle guidance from above, we will find our true place in life<3

  6. I love the thoughts today. What you said is so true. I think if we pray about where we are supposed to be and what we are supposed to do God has his subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) ways of pointing us in the right direction. I’ve even been struggling with something before and the message at church will address my exact question or a conversation with another faithful person will allow me to hear what I need to hear. We have to keep our minds and eyes open because like you said we never get a “do this and that.” God is good 🙂 (Love the outfit too, the red boots are so unique!)

  7. In your own words, I LURVE the boots 😉 seriously, so cute!

But I lurve your thoughts too!! I used to get just SO frusterated not knowing/hearing what God was telling me to do…totally thought if I listened hard enough it would be the whole “do exactly this” senario! I completely agree with you to keep pressing forward!! I really need that encouragement, sometimes you just get tired…not an excuse though! THANK YOU for your thoughts, whatever the Lord has in store for you in the future, know that he is using you now, today, on your blog. 🙂

  8. Not too deep for a Thursday! I have felt the same way ever since college when I never could find the THING I was meant to do or be. I started realizing that for some (most?) people our purpose doesn’t come in a grand revelation but in bits and pieces as we grow and change. My dreams and goals are so different now than they were five or six years ago…. thank God!!!

  9. The title of this post is killing me hahahah I half expected to see a photoshopped photo of the girl with your face on it or something! Love those boots, Molly!

  10. You and your amazing collection of adorable cowboy boots. I showed my mom a few of your posts with your boots and she was smitten! (She”s a huge cowboy fanatic, she adores them and thinks you have some really beautiful pairs.) I don’t know if we ever really get a good kick in the butt in the right direction, I think you summed it up pretty well with just working hard, eventually life will either point you in the right direction or opportunities present themselves.

  11. Those boots? I die. They’re amazing. Interesting how we all get pushed sometimes right? I’ve been feeling this urge to write more about my faith on my blog. One post? Readership jumped. Guess that’s a clear message!
