  1. That dress is great. Love the color!!!

If you haven’t read it yet, you should read the Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls. A-mah-zing.

  2. 1. You look amazing–I LOVE the dress!
    2. I hear ya on the flats.
    3. THE HUSBAND & I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Revolution! We’ve not missed a single episode either season!

Good luck with the rest of the pregnancy!

(Stopping by from the Pleated Poppy’s WWIW!)

  3. Girl, you look beautiful! Love that color!

If uou want a fiction recommendation, i read The Dinner after years of reading memoirs and nonfiction. You might like it. I loved it!

  4. We love Revolution. It’s one of those shows that I worry about though too… like V, we loved it, apparently not enough other people did so it got cut before we knew what was going to happen next. Or Flash Forward. The WORST cancellation for me was absolutely American Dreams. That was before I had to share the TV with my husband, though 🙂

  5. Molly, you look so so awesome! I love the chucks worn with the dress. Such a great look! And so perfect with your pregnant tummy!

  6. You look adorable in this dress and the Chucks! It’s been SO warm here this week and I’ve been trying to be outside as much as I can. I’m reading Walking Disaster by Jamie McGuire…it’s the companion book to Beautiful Disaster (I read that one first).

  7. I bought this dress too and I absolutely love it!! I was thinking it’d probably make a pretty great maternity dress too. Great minds 🙂

  8. Girl you are looking so good! I love this dress! Bte my husband is totally into Revolution too… Haven’t joined him yet but maybe I should?

  9. It’s hard to imagine that I used to hate belts. I wear them ALL THE TIME now! And I love me a good t-shirt dress too. Aren’t they the comfiest?

  10. I agree with Defending Jacob, The Storyteller, and Unbroken (emotional read, but worth it). I also loved Gone Girl, crazy book and even crazier ending but the mind of the writer is amazing! Glad the warm weather is doing wonders for you! Though I’m afraid Spring got lost and she is never coming back 🙁

  11. Love those chucks!

I just read Defending Jacob by William Landay and was hooked. Also loved the new Jodi Picoult, The Storyteller.

  12. Hi Molly–

Let me start by saying that your blue dress looks absolutely adorable on you! It is super flattering and looks cool and comfortable…I’m heading over to the ON site right after I post this! 😉

I happen to read a lot of books–I guess that’s what happens when you’re on a train to and from work everyday. 🙂 So I am always happy to give suggestions. Have you ever read Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand? If not, you would love it. It is a true story that reads like fiction. It is just an unbelievable story about the power of the human spirit. The fact that you also get to witness the power of Christ’s redemption and love in Louis Zamperini’s life makes it that much more poignant and enjoyable.

I might also recommend some of John Hart’s books. He writes thrillers, but they have a great literary quality to them and a lot to sink your teeth into. It might help to know all his books are set in North Carolina! 😉 My favorites by him are The Last Boy and Iron House (his latest.) They can be a little bit graphic at times, but overall, I have found the storytelling and plots to be more than enough to make up for it!

As always, love your sweet little blog! God bless, and I’m so glad to hear you’re feeling better.

    1. thank you so much, melissa!!!!

and i have not read those books but I have heard awesome things – I will definitely put those on my to-read list! thank you so much for the suggestions!!

  13. LOVE that dress. So cute on you!

I really loved The Glass Castle and Half Broke Horses by Jeannette Walls. They are intense (the first more so than the other), but really REALLY good memoirs. It opened my eyes to the way that some children grow up, since most of the people I know had normal parents. Highly recommend!

  14. yes, a belt is a pregnant lady’s best friend 🙂 I wear one practically every day!

Have you read Bringing Up Bebe? I highly recommend it…and listened to it on audio cd which was fun since they had French accents!

  15. I haven’t read it yet but I heard Tina Fey’s book was great and very funny! I loved Jenny McCarthy’s books. You could read them in order or just read Belly Laughs- very funny and fast easy read!

  16. Molly~ you are super cute and I have become a huge fan of your blog! My husband and I love the show Revolution too and I prefer cookies to cupcakes :o) Unfortunately I haven’t had a chance to read lately but I go through those cravings for a good book every once and a while… usually on my summer break. So I will probably hijack some of the titles left from your readers to put on my list too. Oh- and that dress is awesome!

  17. I’ve started loving belts lately too. They really do give you definition.

I loved “Two Kisses for Maddy” by Matt Logelin… but you will definitely need tissues. I’ve also heard good things about Kellie Hampton’s “Bloom,” which is on my list to read. Both of those are bloggers, so you might’ve heard about them or read their books already.
