Grey + White (Or is it gray?)
{{T-Shirt: JCrew Factory // {{Jeans: Motherhood Maternity (similar non-maternity on sale!) // Scarf: World Market // Necklaces: Silpada & Gift from hubby // photos courtesy of my sweet friend Kristin. 🙂
First, I have to address this… today is my due date. I am 40 weeks pregnant. Honestly, I never thought I would actually make it to this date… or something. I thought for sure I’d have our baby by now. But alas, I am here. Sans baby. And that’s okay. God’s birth plan is better than my own. The “due date” is rather arbitrary, really. And that’s okay. I believe I won’t be pregnant forever. I believe that this baby will be born.
Right? Right.
Now that we have that out of the way. Let’s move on to today’s outfit. Shall we?
I FINALLY got a grey t-shirt. Or is it gray? No, seriously. Do you spell gray with an E or with an A? I’ve googled it and I can’t seem to find a definitive answer except one is “English” and one is “American” – or something.
But anyway, that’s neither here nor there. Gray. Grey. It’s all the same.
Anywho.
I did NOT own a grey shirt. I know. Crazy town, right?
Well, I asked my friend Lauren who I know is like a grey shirt EXPERT and she mentioned that she loves the ones from JCrew Factory. Well they happened to be on MAJOR sale last week, so I stopped in and picked one up. And I got it in a size that I know will fit now AND after baby comes. #Winning.
Also, I just want to confess that I have a new addiction to World Market’s scarves (like the one I’m wearing today).
Seriously. WANT ALL THE SCARVES!
I stopped in a few weeks ago to pick up something for the nursery and was captivated by the scarf section. I mean, just look at these beauts:
GAH! So pretty. And, if you join their free “World Market Explorer” program, you get coupons. COUPONS! In fact, I have a coupon waiting for me right now since it’s my birthday month. Only problem is, I don’t know what scarf I want to buy with my coupon.
Here are some of my FAVORITES right now (I already own the first two… hehe):
Le sigh.
Which one is YOUR favorite?

Love you so much!
Come on baby!!!! Anytime now!!!!
So close!
Totally crazy, but I think I may be wearing the same exact t-shirt today in gray as well! So comfortable 🙂
Twins!!!
YAAAAAAA – Good luck and God Bless! Oh and you can spell Grey Gray if you want – just be happy!
Thanks so much, girl!
You look great momma! I love world market- it seems like they always have the best and unique little finds.
Don’t worry you wont be pregnant forever- baby will be here before you know it.
Thanks so much, Erika!
I’ve never thought about World Market for things like scarves – now my interest is piqued!
Also, I’ve been told numerous times that “they” (whoever they are) say that it’s common to be late for first time mothers….so I’ll keep praying for your little one’s safe and healthy entry into the world!
Thanks so much, Jamie!! And yes world market is the best!
Happy 40 weeks!! Come on… baby! Haha I never know if I’m spelling grey right. I actually had to write it out right there to even know how I spell it. I love J.Crew tees – they’re the BEST!
Seriously so comfy! Now I want one in every color.
Lauren is definitely the queen of the grey tee! This one looks great and you and it’s awesome that it will fit now and later. I’m trying to get several pieces like that so that I’m not throwing money into a 9 month pit. You look fabulous. Congrats on your due date! Any day now that little bundle will make his/her appearance.
Thanks so much, lins!
Congrats on 40 weeks! Even more important…Congrats on still having a sense of humour about it : )
Just looking at you makes my back ache.
You are a testament of positive energy lady and you look fab!
bisous
Suzanne
Awww Thanks so much, Suzanne!
I LOVE the scarf and gray shirt… I always spell it gray. I just prefer it for some reason. I don’t think either way is technically correct…. I think gray is the American spelling of it just like colors vs. colours, etc. etc. 🙂 At work I am the copywriter and use gray because most of the publications I write for stay in the US! Anyway, back to the outfit, so cute! And your bump is so adorable I bet you are ready to meet the baby here soon! I have never been pregnant, but I’m sure after all these months you are ready!
So interesting! I’m fascinated by this stuff. I’m a dork. 🙂
The fact that you are nine months pregnant and still taking the time/effort to dress cute is completely, mind-boggling inspirational. And shame-inducing to me, a single, non-pregnant 22-year-old who still struggles to put real pants on every day. You’re awesome. And this outfit is super cute. And I want to be you when I grow up. I’ll be praying your baby out, friend!
Hahahaha love it. Thanks friend!!
You are too cute for words. I remember when I had my son I went into labor about 2 weeks early, I was so BEYOND ready! I know you probably don’t want to hear this but Baby Stillman will come when ready, and it will be the most perfect timing for everyone involved. I haven’t made it to post office yet but I promise to drop off baby’s card soon 🙂
Oh no worries girl. Love you!
Seriously, you are absolutely glowing! Love your casual outfit! Looks chic and comfortable! Hugs from Cali! xx The Golden Girls
Thanks so much, y’all!
You are totally glowing and look absolutely gorgeous. I can’t believe your little baby is almost here!
Aw Thanks so much, alyssa!
Hang in there mama! You’ll be holding that babe very soon! And you still look fantastic!
I spell it gray. And I love the scarves at World Market! They’re both cute AND affordable!
Thanks so much, beth! Yeah I looooove their scarves!
I think either spelling is fine to use! That colorful scarf is soo pretty!
Thanks so much, sharon!
Both spellings are correct! ‘Gray’ is the preferred American spelling and ‘grey’ is more popular outside of the U.S.
Happy due date day! I’m loving today’s outfit. The scarf is so pretty. Hang in there Molly, any day now and you get to hold your baby! 🙂

Always Maylee
So good to know! Thanks so much, Yi-chia!
Yay! Happy Due Date! Hoping your little bundle makes an appearance soon. 🙂
Me too! Thanks so much, Lauren!
Sending pleasant baby birthing vibes your way. And, is it gray or grey? I really don’t know…
Hahah potato potato right?
Maybe you’ll still have baby Stillman today, it’s still early! I own about 10 gray shirts, to go along with all the black and white I own haha.
Haha love it.
I always understood that the English version is ‘grey’ and the American version (most recognized & used in the US) is ‘gray’. I use both. 🙂 Happy due date! 🙂

Yeah that’s what I’ve heard too! Good to know. 🙂
So cute!!!! You’re glowing, as usual!! As you said, God’s birth plan is far better than what we think. Hang in there. XO!

Thanks so much whitney!
Oh goodness! Scarf madness! I love all those prints 🙂
So glad you found a grey tee! I think I spell grey with an ‘e’, simple because we spelled it that way in our son’s middle name. His name is Ethan Grey.
Thanks so much Rebecca!
happy due date! you look great!
Thanks Anne!
It’s ‘grey’ here but then I’m British! You look amazing at 40 weeks! Respect to you, when I was 40 weeks I had long given up on trying to look nice, make up? What was that?? You look fab! Hope this baby comes soon for you 🙂 Found you through Shanna’s link up x
Aw thank you so much, amy-Louise!!!
I definitely use ‘grey’. It looks prettier to me. haha (Being an artist, I pay attention to weird stuff like that. Like how I think Toria looks better than Tori although it tends to freak people out. haha)
You look gorgeous and happy and God will get you through this before you know it! 🙂
Love to know an artist’s POV!! Thanks, toria!
You’re welcome! 🙂
OH, and I gave your blog the “One Lovely Blog Award”! 🙂 I love your blog so much! 🙂

You are the sweetest!! Thanks so much, toria!
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!! Happy Due Date!! praying that little one decides to make an entrance soon!
thanks, ruthy! me too!
I’m always partial to the ‘e’ version for some reason. The ‘a’ version looks weird to me. Hope you don’t have to wait too much longer xx
hahaa yeah i can’t decide which version i’m more partial to
You are so cute. And even if you aren’t feeling it, you look adorable. Also, I smiled a little at you talking about not thinking you would make it to 40 weeks. I wrote the same blog post with my first. I honestly thought he would come early. And that stinker was 10 days late. The longest 10 days of my life, I tell you.
aw thank you so much, jessica!! haha yeah that’s what i’m afraid of. were you induced or did he come naturally 10 days late?
Came naturally, though my membranes had been swept the day before. My water broke in the middle of the night. It was quite the wake up call. But I was so happy knowing I was getting ready to meet my baby (we didn’t know what we were having either).
good to know!! i bet it was quite the wake up call 🙂
