High Five for Instafriday!

I feel like I haven’t done a high five for instafriday in a while. I love these posts – just celebrating the little moments of the week!

Now onto the moments of the week:

1. One of my best friends sent a little gift for Lilly – a Juicy Couture velour jumpsuit. HOW FREAKING CUTE IS THIS?!?! She has nicer clothes than I do…

2. Some days this parenting thing can be really hard. There isn’t one second that I don’t love it and take it for granted, but sometimes it is hard. And, when I get tired and cranky and frustrated and upset, I cherish the moments where the only way I can get Lilly to calm down or nap is in my arms. She’s only little for so long.

3. Some days, you just need to wear a big giant bow in your hair. I don’t care how old you are. AM I RIGHT?!

4. & 5. Went to John’s company Christmas party at the Angus Barn in Raleigh this week. I look forward to this party every year! It’s so fancy! It was our first time leaving Lilly with a non-family member babysitter and, of course, she did great! We had a fantastic time… and my dress ended up being a hit! Planning ahead pays off…
