It took me awhile before I really embraced and jumped on the “menswear inspired” style train. I dunno, I just wasn’t really feeling it… But like so many other “styles” and “trends,” it’s all TOTALLY in how you choose to interpret it… You don’t have to follow trends or styles to a T… you can make them your own. That’s one of the things I love about fashion so much… there really are no hard and fast rules.
I love the boyfriend / schoolboy feel of this blazer paired with the very menswear-esque oxford shoes. But then paired with some skinny jeans, a bright bag, and girly accessories, it makes the outfit feel very, well, girlish. It’s all about balance.
