If you’ve been around this place long enough, you know how much I love companies that have a purpose, a mission, and a passion behind their business model. Without even really realizing it, when I put this outfit on, I realized that almost every single company that I’m “wearing” is a company with a heart and a mission for good.
I would love to get to the point where my entire wardrobe is fair trade and made up of companies that are doing their part (even if it’s a small part) to make this world a better place… one bag, t-shirt, necklace, or pair of shoes at a time.
I don’t like to use this word… but I really do hate that it’s so hard to find fair trade or made in the USA items in stores these days. It’s rare. I’d love to get to a point where you can shop at Target or the mall and know that what you’re wearing was made in a factory where the working conditions are sanitary and comfortable. Where the workers were paid a fair wage. Where the hours were reasonable.
And again, I know that it will be a journey… and I know that it won’t always be easy… but I can pray for the change and I can take strides here and there and support amazing companies that DO it right.
What about you? Do you have any fair trade fashion or Made in the USA companies that YOU love? Any that I should check out?
Such a cute casual look! I’m loving that necklace so much, it’s so unique!
Hope you’re doing well, love! xo

I couldn’t agree with you more! A while back I went through my closet just to see what items were made in the USA or from a copmany that had a mission for good. The sad thing is I couldn’t find a single one! I’ve been making strides towards supporting companies that do but like you said it can be a journey but its one I’m willing to take.
I have been eyeing Elegantees for a while. I love their aesthetic and purpose!
