Dear Denim Vest,

You’re still the one. You’re still the one I run to when I want to complete my outfit. You’re still the one I look forward to putting on when my outfit needs a little extra something. You still go with everything. You’re still comfy and well broken in. And you’re still my favorite summer / warm weather layering piece.

And, you will fit no matter how big my belly gets throughout this pregnancy. WIN. WIN. WIN. ALL THE WINS.

I realize this is an overdramatic letter to my denim vest… but I thought it accurately demonstrated my love for this item in my closet that I’ve worn so. much. 

If you could write a letter to your favorite piece in your closet, what would you say?

  1. This denim vest is the star of your outfit! I just found a denim vest with a great crocheted panel in the back, and I’m totally smitten with it. It’s such an outfit-completer! I think if I had to write a love letter to my favorite item in my closet, it would be this oversized chambray shirt. I could wear that thing every day and never get sick of it.

  6. I have had a denim vest since high school and I still wear it!! I just bought a new one last week. I wear both quite frequently! I received those pants in a Fix a few months ago and sent them back. They are so cute! I could kick myself now! I should have kept them(: Susan
