October Stitch Fix Maternity Review (AKA: The Time I Kept It All)
YAY! Time to share my actual October Stitch Fix maternity review… And, as a fair warning (or spoiler alert) – I kept it all. My stylist, Kimberly J. NAILED IT. NAILED. IT. I actually loved this fix so much that I cheated and totally wore stuff before I had the chance to photograph it. Whoops. Oh well. 🙂
As always, I’ll share what I got in this month’s fix, price, size (maternity clothing, I am finding, varies much more in size), if it is fair trade or Made in the USA I’ll note that, etc. I won’t tell you if I kept it or not since, you know, you’re aware that I already kept everything. 🙂
Check it out!
Loveappella Maternity “Manny V-Neck Maternity Knit Top” – Size XL – $48
*MADE IN THE USA!
This top is heaven. It’s so soft. So stretchy. The sleeves are the right length and I love the print. It’s the perfect maternity layering piece that can be worn all throughout this pregnancy! I really wish you guys could feel how soft this is… it’s just amazing!
Also, bonus, it’s made in the USA! (Well, all Loveappella clothing items are… so… yay!) It was really a no brainer for me to keep.
Loveappella Maternity “Maiesha Faux Leather Trim Maternity Knit Top” – Size XL – $54
*Made in the USA!
Oh this top… how do I love thee? Let me count the WAYS. It’s absolutely amazing. Made in the USA, incredibly soft (it almost has that feeling of cashmere!), feels more like a light sweater, and the SLIGHT faux leather detailing around the collar makes it that much more interesting. It’s also a great length so it could easily be pulled down and worn over leggings.
This is definitely the PERFECT fall and winter maternity top.
Liverpool “Collen Maternity Straight Leg Jean” – Size 12 – $78
Confession: I had to get these jeans hemmed… and I had it done before I took pictures. Haha! Again, whoops! I loved them SO MUCH and they were so long I couldn’t wait to wear them. The tailor down the road from us is super fast so I pretty much took them to her the day I got them.
They’re not cotton, so they won’t shrink. They’re a really soft spandex / rayon / something combo. They feel almost like a soft legging material. They’re a full-panel maternity jean which I prefer, so yay!
And they’re a great dark wash to go with everything.
Now, maternity jeans seem to be running big (or maybe I just lost weight??), but in any event, I normally wear a size 14 and my stylist opted to size down and send me a 12 and they fit GREAT.
Love. Love. Love.
Loveappella Maternity “Shanna Lace Detail Maternity Knit Top” – Size XL – $54
*Made in the USA!
Annnnnd ANOTHER Loveappella top that I’m in love with. The materials they use are like silk. So soft. This color is absolutely GORGEOUS and perfect for any time of year, but ESPECIALLY this time of year. I also love the lace detailing on the sleeves and it actually runs across the top of the back of the shirt.
When I put this shirt on, my husband actually complemented how much he loved it on me.
Needless to say, send me ALL THE LOVEAPPELLA THINGS. This brand has won my maternity heart.
Mystree “Chamberlin Striped Drape Front Cardigan” – Size L – $78
*NOTE: This cardigan does run large, so my stylist opted to size down for this one to a size large and it fits GREAT.
Talk about snuggly sweater central, right here! I think the theme of today’s post is SOFT. SOFT. SOFT. Everything is so soft. I just want to endlessly pet them. And this sweater is no exception. It’s wonderful! Again, another no brainer to keep! Just make sure to request a size down from your usual size. 🙂
What do you think? Have you tried Stitch Fix yet? What about Stitch Fix maternity? Did you have similar sizing issues with maternity jeans?
*This is not a sponsored post. I receive my Stitch Fix fixes on a monthly basis because I choose to and I love the service so much. The link to try Stitch Fix is an affiliate link and I do get a small commission if you click through and sign up to receive a fix of your own. If you do sign up for Stitch Fix, you also have the ability to share and refer people and receive a credit of your own. Because I am a Stitch Fix affiliate, I do receive a discount on my fixes, but I do not receive them for free and I pay for them with my own money.
Love it all! Definitely going to be using my Stitch Fix when I get pregnant again. They have some great stuff!
