Lilly’s Santa Mini Session

A few weeks ago, Lilly (and I) had the privilege of participating in a sweet “Santa Mini Session” with an AMAZING local Raleigh family photographer, Rebecca Keller. We had such a fun time (despite what it may look like once Lilly sat down with Santa) and the images that Becky captured are seriously so adorable, so gorgeous, and also SO hilarious.

Lilly has had a love / hate relationship with Santa every year. The first year, she was a huge fan. Second year? Not so much. This year? Ehhhh, we’re teetering the line. She’s cool with him when he’s like 10 feet away, but up close, it’s anybody’s guess.

But in addition to her hilarious portraits with Santa, Becky also took the time to snap a few shots of me and Lilly and I just. adore. them. I mean… I just can’t even begin to tell you how much I love them.

I can’t WAIT for Becky to take newborn pictures for us in February / March! 🙂

This next and final series of images is HILARIOUS. I love you, Lilly… but these pictures CRACK ME UP…

…first she’s not having it with Santa… but then she sees this giant cookie we’ve presented her with. So, she finds herself in a bind. Does she runaway from Santa and miss out on the cookie? Or does she endure the bearded man and eat the delicious treat? OH THE DECISIONS WE MUST MAKE AS TODDLERS.

“Fine, I’ll endure the bearded man for a taste of this delicacy.”

“BUT THIS COOKIE IS SO GOOD.”

“MOM, CAN I JUST TAKE THE COOKIE WITH ME?”

“Okay, I guess it wasn’t all bad. I’ll give you a pound, Santa man.”
