Two things I am going to admit to you right off the bat.
- The title of this post has absolutely nothing to do with this outfit. I just love that this is the one day of the year that I can make this pun. I didn’t make the pun up… but man, it cracks me up. It’s just one of those things.
- I’m not even a Star Wars fan. In fact, I haven’t even seen all of the Star Wars movies all the way through before. I’ve seen clips here and there… but yeah, nope. I’m behind the times.
Now that we’ve got that out of the way…
This dress has become a MUST HAVE in my closet post-partum. I actually wore this dress home from the hospital when we were discharged after having Amos. It’s made of organic cotton and is SO soft! And, since it’s a wrap dress, it’s great for nursing!
While I love dressing up and feeling fancy, outfits like this are some of my favorite because they give a dressy look, but are actually really comfortable and casual.
Also, side note… I am totally in love with these custom bangles that Jasmine from R&E Avenue made for me! I have one that says “Lilly – Aug 2013,” one that says “Amos – Feb 2016,” and one that says “J+M – est. 2012.” So classic, but also personal!
On another side note, I went on a big gold jewelry and accessory kick over the last few years, but lately I’ve been drawn back to silver. No idea why!
Are you a gold or silver wearer? Do you switch back and forth? Are you loyal to one or the other?
Molly, this is a cute casual look. Love the denim vest over the black dress. I would love to wear this with sneakers too!
