Be Pure Beauty | #ForGood Friday (& triFABB Meetup Recap!)
I have been wanting to share my beloved Be Pure Beauty with you guys in a Friday post for awhile! Since they’re technically not a “Fashion” brand, I’m dubbing this week a #ForGood post because April and her team at Be Pure Beauty are the epitome of living and working for GOOD.
Also, since we had our September triFABB (Triangle Area Bloggers) meetup at Be Pure Beauty, I thought it would be the perfect time to share this AMAZING business with y’all. AND I have to say off the bat… DO NOT FRET, if you don’t live in the Durham / Raleigh, North Carolina area, you can shop Be Pure Beauty online, too!
What is “Be Pure Beauty”?
Be Pure Beauty is a shop that is dedicated to only carrying the purest, most natural, safest beauty products. Everything they carry is made in America (some even local to North Carolina!) and EVERY product is run through multiple databased to make sure the ingredients are the best. They have an online shop AND a brick and mortar store in Durham, North Carolina!
Be Pure Beauty carries natural deodorant (that actually works!), haircare, kids products, and makeup!!!! I love seriously everything they carry and I also love knowing that if I’m using something from their store that it is safe AND effective AND high performing!
On top of being just all around awesome, April also has a huge heart for the community and for giving back. For example, this month, 10% of sales will benefit a local organization called TABLE NC that is helping to put food on the tables of needy people in our community.
April has such a generous heart and just wants to do whatever she can to use her business for good. I LOVE her!! Seriously! We’ve only known each other a couple of months, but I already consider her to be such a genuine and sweet friend.
Anyway! I was also really excited to have our monthly triFABB (Triangle Area Bloggers) meetup at Be Pure Beauty this month.
In addition to mixing and mingling at Be Pure, my girl Em from The Flourish Market also came and set up shop! Ethical beauty AND ethical fashion?! Yes, please!
Some lovely bloggers!
We had a scavenger hunt throughout the store where we had to find clues that led us to the “dirty ingredient” and we learned about the ingredients that are in some of our products that aren’t good for us. That was really eye opening!!
Then, April gave us all a live makeup lesson! She did a smoky eye look and it was gorgeous! She is so knowledgable and SUPER talented.
As a group, we also collected food and pantry items for TABLE NC as our way of doing a little bit to give back to our community and support Be Pure Beauty’s effort this month, too!
It was such an awesome meetup and we had a great time! (So awesome, in fact, that I totally slacked and took very few pictures! WOOPS!)
ANYWAY, if you are looking for a place to get non-toxic, safe, natural, organic, cruelty free and pure beauty products… you HAVE to check out Be Pure Beauty!
I just came across your blog and noticed you are in the triangle area! I just moved to Pinehurst but have been connecting with area locals up that way as well! I even noticed a couple familiar faces at the triFABB meet up! Such a small world! The shop looked amazing and I will add it to my list next time I’m in town!
