I have been thinking a lot lately about travel and where I’d like to go (and take my family) at some point in my life! I absolutely LOVE to travel and have been wanting to make a “travel bucket list” for awhile. Not going anywhere anytime soon… but doesn’t mean a girl can’t dream… 🙂
My Places-I’d-Like-To-Travel / See Bucket List (in no particular order)
- The pyramids in Egypt
- Machu Picchu
- Taj Mahal
- Christ the Redeemer in Rio
- South Africa
- Alaskan Cruise
- See the Great Wall of China
- Thailand
- Bora Bora (and stay in an over-water bungalow!)
- Do the LOST tour in Hawaii (you know, the show LOST… :))
- See the Eiffel Tower at night
- Go to Ireland (anywhere in Ireland!)
- Scotland
- Visit the Holy Land
- Follow the travels of the apostle Paul
- Australia
- New Zealand
- See the Northern Lights
- Iceland / Greenland
- Stonehenge
- Salar De Uyuni, Bolivia
- See the Grand Canyon from the ground (I’ve seen it from a plane so many times!)
- See Antelope Canyon in AZ
- Victoria Falls
- Venice, Italy
- Santorini, Greece
- Visit the areas in Vietnam where my mom served during the war
- Prague
- Scotland
- Spain
Okay, that’s all I can think of for right now and obviously I’ll add places as I come across them… but those are the ones I know for sure I want to see!
What about you? What places are on your travel bucket list? What places should I add to mine? Where is the coolest place you’ve ever traveled?
Now, one more thing. Carly and I are teaming up to do more than host our link up. We are teaming up to share brands that we love……brands that give back. Each week we’ll be collaborating with one of our favorite brands to share the cause they support, and their amazing products.
This week we are teaming up with Wanderer Bracelets. Why do we love Wanderer Bracelets? Because they are creating long term, sustainable work for artisans in rural Bali. They support four different trades in four different villages (carving, weaving, silk screening, and bag stitching) and help these talented artisans support their families in an under supported community.
I absolutely LOVE the bracelets I have from Wanderer Bracelets and they’re such great bracelets for every day!
Now, on to you guys. Link up a recent post! And check out our favorites from last week!

I’ve always wanted to visit England. I think the coolest place I’ve been thus far is Las Vegas. It’s an interesting place beyond the gambling. I loved the weather and shopping!
For me its probably Egypt and Croatia… and lately Milan.
Machu Pichu and Hawaii are definitely on my travel wish list too. I’d also love to go to the pink beach in the Bahamas.

It was so fun reading through your list. I found a few that I want to add to ours!
I love your list! So many great places to see 🙂
I’ve got a big chunk of time off work between Christmas and New Year and I’m trying to plan some last-minute trip, but I still need to decide where to go! (I’m the worst at planning in advance.) The Grand Canyon is on my short list right now though 😉
Your bucket list sounds very similar to mine. I hope to see the Eiffel tower at night soon as in my honeymoon lol . . . I have seen Christ the redeemer and it is something special! The ride up is amazing as well. Also everything else sounds like something I need to do lol

Seeing the Eiffel Tower at night would be AMAZING. Also, I really want to go to Scotland, so when you decide to make that trip…let me know!! 🙂 LOVE this outfit!

I spent 3 weeks in Scotland for “work” in July and August and loved it! I was in Paris and London earlier in the year – I’d move to London TOMORROW if I could get away with it. I’m headed to Italy on Friday – one last European adventure for the year! – and we’re doing Venice, Florence, and Rome. Cannot wait!
Fabulous look! That’s quite the adventurous bucket list! I’d love to go overseas, but my husband only wants to travel in America. I love your bag!
What a great list! I’m dying to go to Spain, Machu Pichu, and Thailand, but really I’d go to any of those places! I don’t have an actual travel bucket list but there are a lot of places I’d love to see some day so maybe it’s a good idea to start one. Also, my husband and I were just talking the other day about how studies have shown that women in underdeveloped countries who are empowered to start their own businesses or make money will invest that money back into their communities, thus improving conditions for their villages. I love that you’re featuring brands that help do this. You’re so awesome! 🙂

I’m glad Spain made your list … I absolutely love living in Spain! I share many if not all of these places … Iceland has been on my mind for a while now. I’m hoping to get to Ireland and Scotland this year since I’m only a short airplane ride away, as well as lots of other parts of Europe!

It looks like you have a lot of traveling to do! 😉 We haven’t nailed down any of our travel plans for next year yet, but we’re thinking London or Iceland. Fingers crossed!

Love this bucket list! We stayed in an over-water bungalow on our honeymoon and just went to Venice last month. Both are absolutely dreamy–you definitely have to go someday! The Holy Land is up for us next year 🙂 Thanks for hosting the link-up and have a happy Monday!
