Going Home (& Link-Up)
I’m writing this while on our layover in London heading home to North Carolina from Kenya. The past 7 (well, 8) days have been a complete whirlwind. Waking up at 6:30a or 7a every day, on the road by 8:30a or 9a, going, going, going until 9p or 10p every night and in bed by midnight or 1a. I honestly haven’t had much time to process and it’ll likely take me a few days, weeks, or even months to process it all.
I’m leaving yet another piece (arguably an even larger piece) of my heart in Kenya.
I love that country with every fiber of my being. The beautiful countryside, the FOOD, the animals, but most of all… the people.
It was my third time there, but I know it won’t be my last. I know today’s post is short and sweet (you can see some more pictures on Instagram and I’ll be sharing more there throughout the week…) and I will also post more about our trip in the coming days.
I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your prayers and your encouragement. You guys are truly the best. I feel so blessed by so many amazing people and such an awesome community.
God is good, all the time. All the time, God is good.
Welcome to the weekly link up! Be sure to link up your favorite post! Here are a few of our favorites last week…

Wow, that’s awesome you went to Kenya. It’s always good to spend time in a different culture and really see how they live their lives. I hope you learned a lot and that you did some great work!
