One of the things I really, really love to show you guys is how to wear one particular top multiple ways. Or how to style a particular piece of clothing in different ways. I also love showing simple examples of how you can take something that looks more casual and basic and dress it up. I have had a lot of you say how much you love the Cassie basic tunic from our Elegantees Let it Shine collection clothing line. I already styled the Cassie tunic in a more “casual / girl’s-night-out” look, and so I thought I’d show you how to dress up a basic tunic!
I love the ruching on the Cassie basic tunic. It is flattering on SO MANY body types because you can adjust it to hit it wherever is most flattering for you. You can pull it down lower or bunch it up higher. I actually like wearing it more mid-range across my hips.
For dressing a basic tunic like the Cassie up, I love pairing it with something like a pencil skirt and a classic black bag. The pencil skirt also helps to give it a little bit more of a “business” flare but this could totally work for a date night, too. *Fun fact* – the Cassie basic tunic is actually one of my husband’s favorite pieces from the whole line.
Then, once you have your pencil skirt (or similar thing), I throw on a pair of wedges with some simple gold jewelry and you’re lookin’ good!
So cute …..Love that skirt! and those wedges!
This outfit is so cute on you! I love that color grey.
