One common thing I hear all the time from people who are “newer” to shopping ethically is that it is hard to shop trends. I totally get it! I love fashion, too! And while I’m not always one to buy something just because it is trendy… shopping trends can be fun! I do it in moderation and try to pick a couple of pieces that I really like that I can either wear multiple ways *or* wear for special occasions. In any event, it is possible to shop trends while also choosing ethical fashion! I wanted to style this cold shoulder maxi dress because the moment I saw it at The Flourish Market, I fell in LOVE.

While this cold shoulder maxi dress isn’t something I’d usually go for, there was just something about it I loved. The cold shoulder is super flattering, the fit is so great, the material is crazy lightweight and soft, and I love the tulip floral print! I feel so pretty in this dress. My husband loves it. This could totally work for a date night or a wedding or even a vacation / girl’s night out dress.

The key when styling something bold and trendy is to pair it with simple accessories. A classic black clutch, simple earrings, minimal jewelry, etc. You want the dress / outfit to be the statement! 🙂
