My stylist, Kimberly J. nailed my Stitch Fix fix again this month!! This was almost a 5/5, but you know I’m super picky on what I actually keep (factoring in need for a particular style / item in my closet / price, etc.).
First, for those of you who are maybe new to this blog or have never heard of Stitch Fix before, let me give you a quick rundown.
What is Stitch Fix?
Stitch Fix is a personal styling service! You fill out a style profile and you are then assigned a stylist who hand select five pieces just for you. Stitch Fix carries women’s sizes 0-24W, XS-3X, shoes, maternity items, petite items, AND they even have Men’s clothing sizes XS – XXL. They also carry over 1,000 brands! A ton of variety and styles for everyone. Those pieces are sent directly to your doorstep… so you try the pieces on at home, decide what you like and would want to wear and keep, and simply send back the rest in a prepaid envelope. You are charged a $20 styling fee that is credited towards an item in your fix if you decide to keep something. That’s it! It’s super easy.
Now, on to this month’s Stitch Fix Review… (PLEASE forgive my cell phone pictures and my extremely dusty mirror. Y’ALL. WHYYYYY is my mirror always dusty? Hahaha! I JUST CLEANED IT!)
MAY STITCH FIX REVIEW
Michael Stars “Irena Gotton Gauze Peplum Top” – Size L – $128 (Made in the USA)
I really loved this top and my husband did, too! The colors are great and it’s a great summer time top! My hang-ups were price and fit. I didn’t 100% love the way it fit me and since it was not a 100% love, then I returned it.
Nine Britton “Baxley Lace Detail Knit Jumpsuit” – Size XL – $58 (Made in the USA)
I can’t believe I’ve jumped on the jumpsuit train like I have this year. I always said jumpsuits were a no for me… but now I’m in LOVE. And this jumpsuit is ERRY’THANG. It’s soooooo comfortable. Like, I feel like I’m wearing jammies. It’s beautiful. It’s made in the USA. It’s flattering. It has pockets. Win. Win. Win. Win. Win.
Emory Park “Dulce Cross Front Knit Top – Size L – $38
I really loved this top and it was really soft and comfortable, but I chose to return it because I already own something similar and I’m really looking for more summer tops. 🙂
Threads 4 Thought “Elsie Cold Shoulder Knit Dress” – Size XL – $54 (Sustainably made in China)
My husband LOVED this dress and I did, too! It’s that amazingly soft Threads 4 Thought modal fabric (seriously feels like butter), super stretchy, really comfortable, and going to be a great dress for summer! KEEP!!
Bailey44 “Yarrow Off the Shoulder Top” – Size L – $148 (Made in the USA)
This top was beautiful, but wayyyyy too pricy for me for a top that I didn’t 100% love.
I also tried out Stitch Fix extras for the first time this month…
This is a new feature from Stitch Fix where you can add bras and underwear and shape wear to your fixes. I added three bralettes to my fix this month that will be great for summer! They fit well and I think I will keep at least one of them! 🙂
