New Stitch Fix Kids Review – Lilly’s First Fix!
Want to know all about the brand new kid’s styling service, Stitch Fix Kids? This Stitch Fix Kids review has all the details you need to know!
I have been SO looking forward to sharing this post with you. You know how much I love the personal styling service Stitch Fix. I have been a long time Stitch Fix subscriber and today, they are launching a personal styling service for KIDS called Stitch Fix kids!
What exactly is Stitch Fix Kids?
Stitch Fix Kids is a personal styling service for kids that provides unique, affordable kids clothing—in sizes 2T through 14—across a diverse range of styles to help kids feel confident in who they are. Each Stitch Fix Kids fix will include 8–12 items personalized to each kid’s sense of style and interests, and curated to deliver head-to-toe looks, ranging in price from $10–$38 per item. At launch, available brands will include Kate Spade, Under Armour, Nike, TOMS, Hanna Andersson, Hurley, Sovereign Code and more, as well as Stitch Fix Kids exclusive brand, Rumi + Ryder.
Shipping, returns, and exchanges are always free. ONLY pay for what you keep… however, if you keep everything in the fix, you get a 25% off discount! There is absolutely no subscription required, you can get a Fix anytime you want. Either on-demand or on a regular cadence – every few weeks, once a month or every season.
Well, Lilly just got her first Stitch Fix Kids fix (Amos’s is on the way to us as we speak!) and Lilly was SO EXCITED. Seriously. I put all her sizing info in her Style profile, and I had her go through and tell me what she liked and didn’t like in the Style Profile (it has pictures of sample items). She loved this part! She told me exactly what she liked and what colors she loved, etc. I also left a note for her stylist about what Lilly loves (twirling, sparkles, and basically all things girly… BUT, I explained she loved to play outside and rough house and ride her bike!) All of this helps give the stylist a sense of your kid’s personality.
Why I think Stitch Fix Kids is awesome…
Shopping for my kids is HARD. Kids clothing can fit so weird and being able to input Lilly’s height and weight in the Style Profile helps so much with getting the right fit. Also, there’s no way I want to take my kid’s to the mall to shop for clothes. So I end up shopping consignment or online for my kids (without them) and if fit is wrong or they hate the item, it’s such a hassle for me to return or resell. I love that with Stitch Fix kids I can try everything on them right from home and they can tell me if they like it or not and that way we are only keeping what they need / love / and ACTUALLY FITS.
This is the perfect service for busy parents who know exactly what their kids need each season and it makes it convenient for them to shop along with keeping the pricing of the pieces reasonable and in budget. I can imagine this being a great service for a kid to get new head-to-toe outfits for the next season.
Now, you know my passion for ethical fashion (even for my kids) and I want to invest in high quality clothing that is made well that will last them (and also last through potential future kids or clothes I can easily hand down to others to get AS MUCH wear out of them as possible). I specifically requested ethically made brands or made in the USA kids brands in this fix. RUMI + RYDER is Stitch Fix’s exclusive brand for kids and Stitch Fix closely monitors their factories. Also, I love brands like Hanna Andersson that use sustainable materials and ethically make their clothes!
