Things Look A Little Different Around Here…

You may have noticed… things look a little different around here.

AND I AM SO EXCITED I CANNOT EVEN DEAL. I AM UNABLE TO EVEN. I AM FEELING ALL THE FEELS.

(How many catchy hip phrases can I throw into one sentence?) 

You see, I know people think I have a weird job… and there have been times over the years where I have felt strange for sharing content I create or talking about my blog or my podcast. I have felt embarrassed. I have sometimes felt serious imposter syndrome. And I have often felt like people don’t take me seriously. Real, honest talk.

But here’s the thing. This is my job and I love it. I am a blogger and a podcaster. I create content for a living. It isn’t just “taking pictures of myself and putting them on the internet.” It is really, really hard work. There is SO much that goes on behind the scenes. It is hard. work.

I have 12 years of content creation under my belt. The first 6 I had zero clue what I’m doing. Sometimes I still feel like I don’t know what I was doing, but then I realize that’s a lie from the enemy. I do know what I’m doing.

This blog… my podcast… they are platforms that I am proud of, but they are not mine. I don’t say that to sound strange, I say it because it is true. 100000% of everything that has happened because of my job is through God’s grace. He took a broke, broken, shred of a human being (me) and He made me into a new creation. I have changed a lot over the years, but I am still the same old me. I am totally different in nearly every way possible than I was 10 years ago… but I’m still ME. I am a work in progress. I am not even CLOSE to perfect and I still screw up all the time, but I am so grateful to God for where I am now and what He has done in my life and how He has shaped me into who I am now.

I am still just being… Molly. (Get it? ;-)).

I look back at blog posts I wrote in 2007, 2008, 2010… and I barely recognize that Molly. In a good way. But it has made me SO grateful for the journey. And it has made me SO GRATEFUL FOR THE “Archive Post” feature because y’all… some of that early content was BAD. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
