AMOS IS THREE!!
I am feeling all of the feelings right now. Our sweet little buddy, Amos, is THREE today. Gosh, this kid. Let me tell you about this kid. He is the absolute sweetest boy in the whole wide world. Everyone who meets him adores him. I didn’t think it was possible, but he gets cuter and cuter and cuter with each passing day.
Yes, he absolutely has his red-headed, fire cracker personality, tantrum fits… but one snuggle from mama or daddy pretty much knocks him out of it. He’s really empathetic and the first to run to help someone who falls or gets hurt. When mommy is sick, he will crawl in my lap and give me a hug and kiss me on the cheek and say, “Feel better, mommy! I LOVE YOU!”
He loves reading books – his favorites are Sheep in a Jeep and Wonky Donkey. He also loves his truck and digger book! His favorite shows are Puppy Dog Pals and Mickey Mouse. He loves Spider-Man and Goofy. The real love of his life is Baby CeCe (if you follow me on Instagram, you should go watch my Instagram story highlight all about baby CeCe. It’s the best.
He loves babies. Anytime he sees a baby, he just fawns all over that baby. He loves his big sister and wants to be like her. He will crawl into her bed at night and sleep with her because he just wants to be near her. They fight like crazy, but also are the absolute best of friends. While he will totally paint his own nails or try to dress up like big sister, he also will then turn around and want to smash cars and trucks and play baseball, basketball, or football all the live long day.
Speaking of which… this kid LOVES sports. Especially baseball. I think if we let him, he would just play baseball all day long. Throwing balls, catching balls, hitting balls with the bat… he’s obsessed. Absolutely obsessed. We signed him up for t-ball this spring and he is going to lose his ever loving mind. 
He’s so bright and smart! He will work so hard to figure something out or do something, “BY MYSELF!” He is incredibly independent, but also wants to be with people all the time. 
I don’t know why I was ever scared to be a mom of a boy… It was the “fear” of the unknown… but my goodness, I love him so much and I’m so grateful I get to raise this little man. God knew exactly what He was doing when He brought Amos into our family. Our family wouldn’t be the same without sweet Amos. 
But really… this kid is so sweet. So. freaking. sweet. I can’t even handle him!
Since he is now three years old, it’s time to introduce the yearly “birthday interview.” We have done these interviews with Lilly since she turned three… so we are starting it this year with Amos!
