Lilly is SIX! | Annual 50 Birthday Question Interview
Our sweet Lilly girl is SIX years old! I know I’m a week late on this, but her annual birthday interview (which we started when she was three) – is one of our favorite traditions. It’s always so funny to see what answers change from year to year and which ones have stayed the same EVERY SINGLE TIME! you can read her previous interviews here: three years old, four years old, five years old.
Lilly starts Kindergarten this week and I’m all kinds of emotional. I’ve had a lot of moments where I just can’t believe she’s become such a little young lady and no longer a baby. She amazes me constantly! She learned how to ride her bike without training wheels, she learned how to tie her shoes, she’s learning how to swim… she’s just growing up SO fast and I know the time is only going to go faster.
Lilly has such a huge heart and she’s so kind and generous. She got money for her birthday and after she tithed and saved a percentage of it, she wanted to take the rest to go to Target to buy a new toy. Well, while she was there, she not only bought herself a toy, but also WANTED to buy a toy for Amos and her friend Emma. She did it all on her own, with her own money. She just is such a sweet spirit. She’s really shy, but also has a huge personality once you get to know her. 
We are so grateful for this baby girl and we couldn’t be more proud to be her parents!

- Where is your favorite place to go to eat? Potlate (Chipotle)

- What are you really good at? “Tying my shoes and riding my bike”
- Who are your best friends? Emma, Tay Tay, Abagail, Lorelei, Livy, Penny… “mostly all my friends.”

- What’s the worst smell you’ve ever smelled? Papa when he pooped in the bathroom (two years running! bahahahaahah)
- What is something that makes mommy happy? When I snuggle with mommy
- What is something that makes daddy happy? When I kiss dada
- What is something that mommy has taught you? “How to blow a trumpet like an elephant.” (?!)
- What is something that daddy has taught you? “How to tie my shoes.”
- Where would you like to travel to? Disney World
- What’s your favorite thing about being a big sister? Carrying Amos
- Can you do a split? “Uh huh” (proceeds to show me)
- What do you want to be for halloween? I wanna be Princess Jasmine
- What language other than English would you like to be fluent in? Spanish since I’m going to be in the Spanish Immersion Program
- Who is the tallest person you know? Daddy
- Who is the prettiest person you know? Mommy
- What is your favorite thing mommy and daddy do for you? “Take me to Sweet Frog, the pool, kiss and hug and smell each other”
