How to read through the whole Bible in a year in 2025!
Just wrapped up my 7th trip through the Bible and every year I learn something new about God, His Word, myself… this year was transformative for me in a lot of ways. Needless to say, every trip through, my love for scripture deepens. I would LOVE for you to join me this year! @thebiblerecap makes the process SO accessible (it’s also available in Spanish and American Sign Language). John and I are also including our kids this year thanks to their new kids resources. We are so excited.
Have you ever wanted to know how to read through the whole bible in a year? Want to join me in reading through the bible in 2025?
It’s SO easy and I promise you can do it, too!
Here’s what you need to do:
1. Join the Bible Recap reading plan with me on YouVersion by clicking here: https://bible.com/p/71011099/68f0eb6f55f9665b65dd9efedf7ebc93
if you do NOT want to do the plan within the YouVersion app, you can print out a reading plan here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GhNKG1nMy1WiqWV94FOnJxUuyIxEuaQB/view
2. Go to your favorite Podcast listening app (Google podcasts, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, etc.) and subscribe to: “The Bible Recap.”

Don’t want to read a book? Watch the YouTube videos: https://www.youtube.com/c/TheBibleRecap
You can also go to HTTP://thebiblerecap.com/start for more information.
Here’s what you will do every day:
1. Go to your reading plan in the YouVersion app and read that day’s reading or refer to the printed reading plan (Starting with Genesis 1 on day 1). Read your bible!
2. Go to the Bible Recap podcast and listen to that days podcast! There’s an 8-10 minute podcast each day that “recaps” the day’s reading helping you understand what you read, give context, and summarize.
That’s it!
Some pro tips that have worked for me:
-There are introductory videos for each book of the bible.
-I “listen” to the Bible while I read it – I do 1.5x-2x speed and I find that works best for me and it also goes faster.
-I also speed up the podcast to 1.5x speed
All in all, it takes me about 15-30 minutes a day to do. Sometimes a little longer if there’s something I really want to learn more about or research or spend time reading.
