I have mentioned before that typically I am not a heels girl. I like comfortable shoes. Cowboy boots. Flats. Flip flops. It’s not that I don’t love wearing heels, it’s that for some reason my body HATES ME when I wear heels. Within 10 minutes my feet are aching and by the end of the day I’d rather cut my feet off because that would hurt LESS than how badly my feet hurt when I wear heels.
I admire girls who can wear heels all the live long day… I am not one of them.
UNLESS I find the perfect pair of comfortable heels. I have one pair of heels that I found a few months ago that are comfortable and I love, but recently I found out about Hotter.com and they have a TON of comfortable shoe options – INCLUDING comfortable heel options. I was skeptical. Comfortable heels are like Crystal Pepsi. It’s a myth, or something. Usually you find a pair of shoes that is either comfortable OR cute. Not both.
I got a pair of the Donna Heels from Hotter.com (If you order from them, make sure you order from the US website and not the UK website… unless you’re in the UK of course… 🙂) and when they came in the mail, I got them out of the box and immediately fell in love. And then I put them on. HOLY MOLY THEY ARE SO COMFORTABLE. I seriously didn’t know it was possible. They are so cute, so practical, and go with so much. AND THEY ARE SO COMFORTABLE. I want to scream it from the rooftops. Comfortable heels are such a rarity for me.
I can tell that these are going to be a serious staple for me for years to come. So, with that, I wanted to show y’all FIVE different ways to wear the Donna Heels from Hotter.com!
ONE: The casual style with jeans look.
You know, for the everyday outfit.
Cardigan: J. Crew Factory | Jeans: Stitch Fix / Kensie | Tank: Stitch Fix | Shoes: Hotter.com
TWO: The shorts and a tee look.
The perfect weekend look, running errands look, or just hanging out doing a whole lot of nothing look.
Jean Jacket: Belk c/o | Shirt: Target | Shorts: Lilly Pulitzer
THREE: The trendy all-white look.
PRO TIP: If you’re going to rock the all-white trend, make sure you have varying textures and patterns. Plus, a pop of color always helps – whether it’s in a shoe or in a bag.
Tunic: Lilly Pulitzer c/o | Jeans: Old Navy
FOUR: The comfortable, casual maxi-skirt look.
To me, there’s nothing more comfortable than a maxi skirt and tee. If I could live in this outfit, I think I would.
Shirt: Fedora Boutique | Maxi Skirt: Target
FIVE: The fancy wedding guest look.
For the fancy occasions! Because isn’t that what heels are actually meant for?
Dress: Lilly Pulitzer (via Re-Lilly)
So, what do you think? Which look is your favorite? How would YOU style the Donna heels? Do you have a pair of comfortable heels that you love?
Hey Molly! I am in need of some comfy professional shoes and thought about this post. How are your shoes holding up? Are the shoes true to your normal size?
hey julianne!! they have held up SO well. i wear them all the time and they are still really, REALLY comfortable. i found that they were pretty true to size. i can’t wear them with barefeet… so i wear them with those footie socks… but that’s it! 🙂
Those are SO cute! I need some comfy heels!
I love ALL of these outfits… and those shoes… gorgeous!!
