Favorite Looks from 2014
I love these posts every year because it’s a great chance for me to look back and see how far I’ve come or how things have changed or where I was at a particular time… I know that sounds way more deep than you’d think an “outfit review” post would / could / should be… but it’s true.
For instance, when I look at some of these earlier pictures I think about being in our old house in Hillsborough, or mornings hanging out with my friend Brooke, or afternoons with my friend Em, or life in our new home, or new settings I was trying on my camera, etc. etc. etc. It seems all very “surface” on the outside, but there’s a whole lot more going on behind the scenes. Or something.
Anyway, I’m digressing.
All this to say that I just really love looking back on the year and then sharing with y’all some of my favorite outfits that I put together! You can view all of them (and others!) in the fashion section of my blog.

Molly, I love how unafraid you are to wear bright colors and fun patterns! I am a wiener-baby and basically wear black, white, and gray clothing, and the pattern I feel most comfortable wearing is stripes (but I’ll do some florals and some polka dots if you twist my arm). I so envy people who are confident and beautiful in color and pattern like you are! Also, do you still wear that wonderful black/white striped dress? It is one of my favorite pieces you have styled because it’s so versatile!! How have you been styling it for the cooler weather?
thank you, brynn!!! i wear it with tights and a blazer/ jacket a lot. I’ve also worn a vest over it. it’s SUCH a versatile dress!

They all look so good! I suck at incorporating color into my wardrobe like you do. I’m so drawn to greys, blacks, browns… but your color is inspiring! And I keep scrolling up and down, up and down trying to decide which is my favorite look. And I can’t. I can’t pick just one. But you know what stands out to me more than anything? I love your layered necklaces. Especially the bar one. I really need to find a reasonably priced one and order it. After I decide what to have engraved on it… Decisions decisions.
