March Stitch Fix Review (x2) + Link-Up
So, you may (or may not) be thinking, “But Molly, didn’t you already do a March Stitch Fix review?” Yes, yes I did. But you see, that fix actually came early in February. I just wrote about it in March. And then my March fix came… and well, you know. I get a fix once a month but they just started coming a little earlier and now it’s one of those things where everything got shifted and the OCD in me is all kinds of off.
Now you’re thinking, “Seriously Molly? I don’t care about these unimportant details.”
You’re right. I’m just spitballing now.
So, regardless. I got my actual March fix last week and I just couldn’t wait to share it with you guys!
As always, I share with you guys what I got, my first impressions, size, price point, quality, and whether or not I kept it. It was pouring rain when I got my fix so I was stuck taking try-on pictures inside again. Oh well! I know y’all don’t mind. 🙂
Without further ado… here’s my actual March Fix!
Brixon Ivy “Azurre Lace Overlay Blouse” – Size XL – $68
So, I loved this top. I love lace and I love gorgeous neutral clothing items that have some element of “interest” to them. This piece totally has all that. However, it just was a little too big on me and felt a little too bulky. And then I think, because of the bulkiness of it, the spacing in the lace felt extra huge.
So, while I LOVED this top in theory, it just wasn’t totally right on me. I was REALLY bummed because I think had it been a size smaller it would have been perfect. I think the price point is right on for it and the top feels SUPER well made. It comes with a tank to wear underneath it.
Unfortunately, this shirt was a no go.
Verdict: Return
Market & Spruce “Xander Short Sleeve Woven Back Sweatshirt” – Size XL – $54
I love, love, love comfy, loose, everyday-type tops. Ones that you can easily throw on with a pair of shorts or jeans… are always comfy… always cute… you know, the reliable pieces.
I knew the second I took this top out of the box that it was going to fit the bill. I LOVE it. It’s loose and flowy, it’s sweatshirt material on the front and on the sleeves, but the back is a gorgeous, sheer material… so it’s not just a boring sweatshirt. It makes it feel snazzy!
It was a DEFINITE keep!
Verdict: Keep!
Moon Collection “Alcatraz Fringe Hem Blouse” – Size XL – $58
I was a little “meh” on this top out of the box… I think in theory, this top is actually pretty. But the fringe at the bottom threw me off and wasn’t even really a high quality fringe. The shirt itself feels so nice and well made, and then you have this really flimsy fringe that just doesn’t seem to fit. If that makes sense… I’m not against fringe, I just didn’t like this one.
It also fit a little tight in the shoulders… so, this top was a nope.
Verdict: Return
Maggy London “Allegro Floral Print Dress” – Size 14 – $128
You guyssssssssss, I loved this dress. It is totally not a dress I’d normally pick out for myself. At all. It’s a dress that I’d normally think, “Oh hey June Cleaver!” but this dress was just so pretty. It’s extremely well made (totally worth the price point, in my opinion), and the fit is superb. It fit me like a GLOVE. And it has POCKETS!!!! I LOVE dresses with pockets.
For you Hart of Dixie fans, I felt like this was a dress Lemon or AnnaBeth would wear. Haha!
I had a really hard time with this one because I loved it so much, but honestly, I just don’t know where I’d wear it right now… and I couldn’t justify it in this month’s budget. If I’d gotten it another month, maybe I would have kept it… but this month, sadly I sent it back. I miss it already!
Verdict: Return 🙁
Dear John “Niki Cropped Skinny Jean” – Size 14 – $78
(forgive my bare feet)
This month I specifically requested spring denim! I wanted some fun printed jeans, or distressed jeans, or something fun and springy. These Dear John cropped jeans are perfect!! They’re so comfy, really lightweight (perfect for warm OR cold weather), and the floral print is so much fun!
I’m a HUGE fan and so they were pretty much a no brainer keep…
Verdict: Keep!
So what do you think? Which items were your favorites? What would you have kept? Do you agree with my choices?

Oh, Molly! That short sleeved sweatshirt is one of the coolest things EVER! It’s exactly the kind of top I’ve been wanting to add to my closet for a while now. I may need to look it up and see if I can find it or something similar!
That short sleeve woven back sweatshirt…LOVE!!! So comfy and perfect with jeans! Excellent keep!

I received the same woven shirt shirt top in my fix and I ADORE it too! Can’t wait to wear it! 🙂 Thinking I need to request those “Dear John” jeans!! 🙂
Oh, I really love those pants! I might have to make a similar request. I actually got the Xander shirt in my January Fix. Except my back was white with black polka dots. I kept it too – LOVE it. I wear it to work AND to teach barre in.
Love that lace top and the short-sleeve sweatshirt looks so comfy! ~Cynthia
Love the blue & green printed dress!!
Best!

Ooo I love that pink and grey top, so cute!! The dress is amazing, but I can totally understand why you would need to return it if you don’t really have a need for it.
Everything you got looks great on you! I LOVE that pink and grey top!
That dress! I asked for a fit and flare dress and got two cheap juniors dresses. Now, this I would have LOVED. So pretty and classy for the April wedding.
You nailed it with that lacy top. The lace is just too big so it made you look big and you aren’t big!
Fun box with variety, though.
Oh my gosh- that Market & Spruce short sleeve sweatshirt!! SWOON. Seriously though.. the BEST everyday piece.

I love that woven back top!! So cute! I received the same Dear John pants in my Fix last week and sent them back. Now I wish I would have kept them. They look great on you! Susan
Molly I hoped the sweatshirt top would be a keeper as it looks amazing on you!! Shame about the dress though, it’s so beautiful (don’t want to make you feel bad though 😉
Thank you so much for hosting, enjoy your week!

What a bummer on the lace top! At first glance I thought it was stunning! I really like the sweatshirt top that you kept though!

That dress was adorable but it was smart to send it back if you wouldn’t be wearing it. I love those pants! So fun!

It’s always really interesting to see the reasons for keeping or not keeping items! I think you’ve done really well again – love those trousers! Thanks for hosting x
Shame about the dress, it’s really gorgeous, but you are totally right about not keeping it if you don’t wear it at least a certain number of times during the year.

Stunning dress. I host a link up every Wednesday so stop by if you get the chance 🙂

The dress and pants are my favorite…so perfect for spring! You’re smart to send the dress back if you know you’re not going to wear it though (despite how cute it looked on you though). You can use that money for clothes that you’ll wear more often 🙂
That dress is so pretty – bummer that you didn’t keep it. You have way more self control than me.
