When people ask you, “What’s your style?” what do you say? Do you HAVE a style? Do we HAVE to have a style? Are you preppy? Boho? Romantic? Edgy? Simple? Hipster? A mixture of them all?
Over the years I’ve found myself drawn to so many different styles. I like preppy styles. I like boho styles. I like simplistic styles. I like bright colors. I like neutrals.
Is it vital that we put ourselves in some “style box” in order to fully “be ourselves”?
If you ask me, I think no. I realize some people would disagree with me, but I think that’s the beauty of style and fashion. It gives us an outlet to express ourselves in so many different ways.
So while one day I might want to wear some bright and happy Lilly Pulitzer, the next day I might want to wear a simple gray tee and jeans… and that’s okay! That’s who I am. That’s what I like. I’m a style chameleon.

I like different styles too and sometimes I combine them! It is hard to pick one style because there are so many great styles to choose from.
During the day, I’d say I follow a more romantic style. But at night, I mix it up a bit. I love combining edgy with romantic, or boho with hipster. It’s fun to play around!

That top is awesome! I love the colors and how bright and vibrant it looks! I love it paired against your lace shorts! I also like how you don’t define your style in one specific way. I like that you take risks and see yourself in many different style boxes!

I agree! My style all depending on my mood which is ever changing (ha!). I definitely have styles I prefer and tend to lean towards, but I don’t know that I could ever “label” my style. Great post!

I have had the exact same thoughts of late, trying to ‘define’ my style, when in actuality i like lots of different styles. I see ladies on insta and they have a very specific look, normally black and white, and i think wow i wish i could do that, that looks so cool! and then i get drawn in to a bright pink dress that i just can’t refuse..lol! So yes i know exactly what you mean, i think i just need to be a happy little chameleon! I am not a single style nor a type. i agree with you we are all parts of all of those. Love this look on you, such a pretty top and bag and those shoes are awesome.
I was JUST thinking about this the other day. I have not a clue how to describe my style. I typically gravitate toward more tailored, classic pieces, but at the same time some days I’d like to be a little more boho-esque. I think it’s nice not trying to box yourself into one style. It gives you the opportunity to try so much, after all, isn’t that what fashion is all about? 🙂

I definitely don’t think I have a particular style either; it changes with my mood – and that is the fun of fashion I think! I would say my “neutral” style leans towards lady like 1950s (I love midi skirts & pink) but there are days where I love ripped boyfriend jeans and a graphic tee or days where flared jeans and a boho shirt are the only thing I want to wear!

I find it hard to nail down my style, but I honestly think my Julep Maven style says it all. My Julep quiz told me I’m Classic With A Twist. So, I think that fits me pretty well!
I don’t think my style falls into any particular category either, it changes daily! I love this bright outfit!

I’d say I tend to gravitate towards classic pieces, but I like to mix in some color and fun as well.

Love this post! I always get asked what’s my style and I feel like it’s hard to say because I love so many things. In my mind, style can be always changing but you usually have a signature twist. LOVE these photos girl!

I don’t put myself in any box, be it style or otherwise. That said, I do have a couple of things, or styles if you want, that are definitely “not me” and an overarching, reoccuring “vibe” that is there no matter the style I’m wearing that day.

There are definitely some recurring themes in my wardrobe but I couldn’t put myself into a style box. What I wear depends on how I’m feeling that day. And I’m a Gemini too. That’s like having two people to please.
