One of my absolute favorite things about warmer weather is… DRESSES! I love dresses because they’re easy, effortless, comfortable, and pretty much a no-brainer. You can wear it by itself, or you can jazz it up with a denim vest, a summer scarf, and a fun bag and you’ve got yourself an interesting outfit!
Another thing I love is actually wearing BOOTS with dresses. I realize for some this may seem crazy while others of you are like, “YES! I, too, am a dress and boot fan.” Especially living in the south, boots are big here… and a great pair of boots can’t be beat.
These boots from Duo are pretty much as close to boot-perfection as I’ve ever experienced. They are extremely well made, oh-so-comfortable, and you can order varying CALF WIDTHS!
Now, for those of you who struggle with finding boots that comfortably fit around your calves (you know, like me!) these boots are a dream. I got them about 1/2″ – 1″ wider so they would fit comfortably and then transition to fall and be able to comfortably fit over jeans.

I adore boots with dresses! I have such a hard time finding high boots that fit my wider calves, and I’ve never seen a brand let you choose your exact calf width! How awesome. Definitely going to be checking them out. I would love to finally have a quality pair of leather boots that truly fit.

love the idea of wearing boots in the summer! being on a strict budget I’m limited in the amount of new shoes (and clothes) I can buy. So seeing this post about being able to wear boots with a dress in the summer helps me make the most out of what I have (and still look fashionable!)
