Our 2nd Cruise on the Disney Dream
Last Friday we left for our second cruise on the Disney Dream! We took our first cruise back in March of 2014 when Lilly was just six months old. John’s boss at work has been so kind and gracious to gift some of his staff this trip the last two years, and we were SO excited to have another opportunity to go!
We had a BLAST the first time around, and now that Lilly is two, we KNEW she’d be so fun to take again! And boy, were we right! She, quite literally, was a giant ball of joy the ENTIRE time. Pretty much constantly smiling. Whatever we were doing at that current moment was the MOST FUN THING EVER. Whether it was meeting a character, having a dance party, going to the beach, or pressing the buttons on the elevator – it was the MOST FUN. I had so much fun just watching HER have fun.
I wanted to share some pictures from our trip! I actually didn’t take a ton of pictures this time… shocking, I know. Honestly, we were so busy just having a blast that I would forget to take pictures. 🙂
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy some of the ones I DID take…
Sailing away on Friday afternoon:
In our stateroom…
I did a little comparison picture of Lilly’s first cruise vs. second. So cute!
Playing in the Nemo’s Reef splash pad. She loved it!!
Another 1st vs. 2nd time comparison picture… look at how tiny she was on the left!!!!
Cheese!
This girl could have gone down that water slide ALL DAY LONG.
Princess for a day.
So much ice cream.
After dinner
Pirate show and fireworks on the deck of the ship
A morning dance party (dressed as Doc McStuffins, of course).
Dancing with Goofy!
Heading out to the beach at Castaway Cay… Disney’s private island. It’s beautiful!!
She LOVED being in the water! In fact, she didn’t want to LEAVE the water… at all!
Another comparison pic… March 2014 vs. September 2015. Love it!!
Beach bum!
Wanted to go back in the water… tired of pictures…
Meeting Snow White. Not so sure about her…
Was a little more cool with Rapunzel, but not SUPER cool.
Definitely not sure about Mickey….
She actually LOVED Donald Duck. He was totally her favorite.
Meeting Pirate Minnie… dressed like a pirate.
Just a little snippet of our time on the Disney Dream! It went by WAY too fast and I already can’t wait till we get to go back on another Disney cruise… they’re a BLAST!!!! If you’ve been considering going on one… DO IT. Worth it!!
What about you? Have you been on a Disney cruise before? What about cruises in general? Love them or hate them?
Oh my goodness…she is just so darn cute! She exudes joy in these pictures. What a fun family trip.
Sounds like such a fun trip! And I love all the comparisons, too cute!! I’ve been really wanting to go on a Disney cruise, I heard they are so fun. And not after seeing these pics, I really want to take my son on one!
This was so much fun to see. 🙂 I love your then and now comparison photos! My in-laws are members of the Disney Vacation Club, so they have treated us to a cruise once before – 4 nights in 2008 to the Bahamas. First cruise for my husband and I, and we fell in love with cruising! They are graciously treating us to another cruise this December; this time a week-long to the Caribbean! I’ve (obviously) never cruised with any other line before, but friends and family have. From all I have heard, I can’t imagine we will ever cruise with anyone other than Disney. Even though we don’t have children yet, I love the family-friendly atmosphere and my inner child loves all the Disney-ness. lol But I also love how much they offer for adults too. I hope that if we are ever blessed with children that we’ll be able to share the experience with them.
Oh my gosh. These pictures are too much. Your little girl is so full of joy!

Oh my gracious! These pictures are adorable. This makes me want to go on a Disney cruise. I love the pictures of her on the slide!
Molly! She is such a cutie. And you’re seriously looking so great.
I’ve still never been on a Disney Cruise. It’s definitely on the need-to-do list.
