Taking My Time & Link-Up

Thank you, everyone for the well wishes and congratulations as we welcomed our sweet baby Amos into the world last Friday!

Full transparency, I am actually (as I sit and type this), still in the hospital resting and recovering… but Amos is doing awesome and I’m getting better! Looks like I’ll be heading home tomorrow (well, today as you read this… haha!) and I can’t wait to be back at home with my husband and babies! You’re probably like… “What? And you’re BLOGGING right now?” Well, it’s therapeutic for me and plus… I gotta have something to do in the middle of the night while I’m nursing and everyone else is asleep! 🙂 #distractions

I will definitely be sharing Amos’s birth story once I get the chance to write it down. And don’t worry, I’ve already got lots of awesome content written and scheduled for the next few weeks. PLUS, I have some AMAZING other bloggers who have been so sweet and generous to write some guest posts for me that I’ll be peppering in over the next month or so, too.

To be honest with you, I didn’t do a great job of taking some time “off” after Lilly was born… I really didn’t take a maternity leave at all… (even from my day job at the time). And while my blog never actually feels like work to me because I enjoy it so much (even though it is my job! haha!), I do want to do better go ’round about taking more time to just rest, relax, and soak in allllll of the squishy newborn snuggles. I hope that makes sense! So, in any event, I hope you stick around because I’m not going anywhere. 🙂

And again, thank you for your messages, comments, tweets, prayers, etc. You have NO idea how much they mean to us! We are so blessed and feeling so loved right now! <3
