Okay, so I don’t want you to get the wrong idea. From the moment I started this blog, everything I’ve ever shared has been honest, legit, and real. I’ve tried to stick true to that… no matter what. And every outfit I’ve ever styled, shared, worn, etc. (even the early days cringeworthy ones…), has been an outfit that I have actually worn in real life or actually wear in real life.
BUT, I think there’s a misconception. Sometimes people ask me, “How do you do it?! How do you look so put together every day?”
The truth is, I do not. No way! I mean, I definitely get dressed (or try to), but I certainly do not look put together every day. Haha! Want to know what I really wear most of the time? This. This is what I wear…
This is honestly what I probably wear 80% of the time. LulaRoe leggings (because they are like butter and the most comfortable ever, a tunic (because there’s all that “give”), and a cardigan or kimono! This outfit, while maybe not the most “high fashion” or whathaveyou, is comfortable, fun, easy to move in, comfortable, easy to chase a toddler around in, washes easily, is comfortable, bright / colorful, and did I mention is comfortable?
I’m just being real. Comfort is key, but I don’t want to sacrifice style and personality in what I wear! 🙂
Especially now that I’m postpartum and post-second-c-section… clothing is TOUGH right now. But this? This is what I’m talking about. ALL THE STRETCH and all the comfort! 🙂

So my daughter, Eve, turns 17 later this month and I’m still wearing comfy, stretchy capri-length leggings GRIN yup, they never get old. And I have to say, Molly, yours are far more stylish than mine ever were and, quite likely, ever will be 🙂

I think you manage to look both comfortable and stylish in those fun leggings! I’m not much of a leggings wearer (mostly because I just don’t have any tunics) but after I had my first kid I definitely lived in all the stretchy things. It was summer then though so I could get by with skirts… this time I’m due in October so I may have to embrace leggings and other stretchy pants!
I have never heard of those leggings before, and lately I’ve been seeing them all over social media. I wear the same black pair of yoga pants most of the week myself, so I can relate!

Comfortable and adorable! Win-win, right? Believe me, you are definitely not alone. These days I am comfortable in boyfriend jeans, but on those days when a waistband seems like pure torture, I always reach for my leggings and a tunic. A cute pair of shoes and some statement jewelry and a leggings outfit look just as good as any other outfit!

Yay for keeping it real! I lived in sweatpants and hoodies when my son was first born, comfort is key and i love that you represent real mums. I think you still look fab, glowing in-fact!
