I am a firm believer that every woman should have a “statement” piece in her closet. An item of clothing or a piece of jewelry that just says (in so many words), “BAM!” A piece that makes her feel fun and beautiful and unique and special. A “standout” piece.
You know exactly what I’m talking about.
This ruana (basically a fancy name for scarf kimono thing) is exactly the type of statement piece I am talking about. It’s soft (ohhhh so soft), lightweight, bold, colorful, fun, beautiful, and takes a regular outfit of a black top and jeans and makes it FUN and really makes it pop.
This ruana also came in a gorgeous pink color but it sold out super fast. BUMMER. But seriously. This ruana would make a great coverup for the beach or pool, it’s great over a dress, jeans, you name it. It’s basically the greatest in the world.
Okay, small exaggeration, but you catch my drift.

Beautiful! This ruana really does transform jeans and a tee into a fabulous statement-making outfit! It’s funny that you said at the end of the post that you were sad the pink one sold out…I was thinking as I read through that I see you in a lot of pink hues and they look great on you, but I really, really love the blue tones on you!
