Through Thick and Thin, a Browns Fan I’ll Always Be (& Link-Up)
From the moment I was born, I was destined to be a Cleveland Browns fan. If you’ve read my blog for any amount of time, you probably know this. I am a Cleveland fan through and through. No, I did not grow up in Cleveland, Ohio (I actually grew up in Washington Redskins territory), but my dad was born and raised in Cleveland and, so, when I was born, he knew he was going to raise a Browns fan.
CASE IN POINT – this is me as a very, very young baby with my dad:
I never stood a chance.
In any event, my love for the Browns runs deep and it runs thick and I will never falter.
Now, my husband is a Carolina Panthers fan. HOWEVER, when we got married, he knew my love for the Browns and so he agreed that we could raise our kids to be Browns fans (with a little side of Panthers… haha!!)Ā And, he will even admit, John has come around and is totally a Browns fan now, too!
BUT, especially as evidenced by our performance yesterday, the Browns are terrible at football. We have pretty much alwaysĀ been terrible and likely will be for the rest of my life. But it’s cool. I like to think that my love of the Cleveland Browns has just taught me about resilience, toughness, and sticking it out through thick and thin.
In any event, it’s fun to get the kids (namely Lilly at this age) excited about FOOTBALL SEASON!Ā Remember my excitement about football season LAST YEAR?
Especially now that we have Amos, it’s so fun to get coordinating Browns apparel from the NFL Fan Shop for the whole family! Something for me, Lilly, Amos, John, and even my dad!
This is how I feel about the Browns too, Lilly… :-/
I love that the NFL fan shop has so many cute styles for us to root on the Browns!!
I MEAN, LOOK AT THIS GUY! Cutest!!
THE TEETH!
So, this Cleveland Browns bear? This Cleveland Browns bear was MY BEAR when I was a baby!!! This bear is, at least, 31 years old! Crazy, right??!?!
These two… Lilly just loves her brother so hard. Amos is not really having it. Oh well. I can’t even with them. <3
What about you? Are you a football fan? What team do you root for? Does your fandom run deep in your family? What do you wear on game days? Sound off in the comments! š

Love your kids!! They are the cutest and so fun to see you are starting them early on being football fans. I always root for the Miami Dolphins even though the poor guys always make me cringe when i watch them LOL.

You rock the boot leg jeans, m’dear.
I’m not a sports fan so I have never understood the loyalty and love for sports teams, but ya’ll look cute in these photos.
Love how adorable you all look in your Browns gear! I am from Boston, and before the 2000s all we knew was how to lose. It makes the win so much sweeter!

Aww, you all are adorable in your Browns gear! I don’t get too into football (other than college–go K-State Wildcats!) but I’ve always been a big Kansas City Royals fan and totally understand rooting for a team when you’re terrible. Of course, the last couple of years have been great (hello World Series win!!) but before that we were pretty awful. So it’s always worth holding out hope!! š
Adorable outfits .. you all look great!! your little ones tres adorable …
Their outfits are so adorable!
Your daughter has to be the cutest cheerleader EVER!! Loving these outfits, even though I don’t know a single thing about football š
Thank you for hosting,

Super cute! We are more college football fans than NFL and Penn State is our team! I remember trying to teach our oldest to yell “Touchdown” when he was about 2 and how to throw his arms as the “touchdown” gesture. It confused him so much that he would throw his arms in the air and yell “TouchUp!” Then he would touch the floor and yell “Touchdown!” It was very adorable and funny!
