Now that Fall has officially decided to show itself, everyone pulls out the plaid, tartan, the herringbone, and the fair isle prints to wear. Thus, leaving the bright and happy florals to be shoved into a closet for the next six months or so. Don’t get me wrong, I love the wintery prints (and colors) as much as the next lady, but I still LOVE florals all year round!
This midi skirt from Agnes & Dora is a new favorite of mine. It’s SO comfortable, it has pockets, it’s soft, it’s stretchy, and the floral print is just gorgeous. It’s also one of those skirts that you can easily dress up or dress down OR you can even wear it through the seasons. Obviously you can wear it with a tank and sandals in the warmer months… but throw on some ankle booties, tights, a denim jacket, or even a sweater and you can easily carry it into fall and winter.
My daughter Lilly is also jealous of the fact that it twirls. Homegirl only wants to wear skirts and dresses that twirl… haha!! A girl after my own heart. 🙂
Right now, we are in what I deem the “perfect” weather. It’s not too hot, it’s not too cold. You can wear a jacket and be comfortable, or you can wear a skirt and t-shirt and also be comfortable. It’s the most versatile time of year, weather wise. We aren’t QUITE into the really chilly temps yet and I am cool with it!
What do you think? Do you like to wear traditionally “springy” or “summery” prints all year long? Or are you more seasonally strict on what you wear?
Welcome back to our regularly scheduled program……..we just finished celebrating Let It Shine’s FOUR year anniversary with a month of giveaways….and now we’re back to business. Each week we share a few of our favorite posts from the week before….

The weather this time of year is fantastic–perfect for light layers, but no heavy coats or tights! I love that skirt and I totally agree about florals being a favorite year-round depending on how you style them.
Beautiful skirt! What a statement piece. I have a similar skirt and similar boots; totally going to try them together now!

Floral, twirly skirt and pockets, what more do you need from a skirt? Perfection!
Love that beautiful skirt on you, and agree 100% – florals all year round!!! Those wine colored booties make a perfect pairing with this skirt, too!
