Happy Thanksgiving eve, y’all! I am in the throes of prepping for Thanksgiving dinner and I couldn’t be more excited about it! This is my fourth (maybe even FIFTH) year hosting Thanksgiving dinner and I LOVE it. My whole family comes over and I cook the whole thing. Some people might be overwhelmed by that thought… I LOVE it. My only rule? GET OUT OF MY KITCHEN. Leave me alone. Entertain my children. Refill my Diet Coke. Don’t touch anything. Those are my rules. 🙂 Fair, right?
This look has been a go-to fall outfit for me lately! Y’all know how much I love the Lularoe Carly dress and tying it at the bottom and wearing it as a tunic has been one of my favorite ways to wear it! Throw on a slouchy cardigan, comfy jeans, and booties and you have the perfect, casual outfit. This is likely what I’ll be wearing on Thanksgiving (or something just like it!)
What about you? What are you doing for Thanksgiving? Do you cook or go some where? What’s your favorite Thanksgiving dish? Sound off in the comments!
PS: Wanted to tell you about the big annual Shopbop sale that is happening NOW through the 28th at 11:59pm!
Here are some of my favorites from Shopbop that are a part of the big sale! (All of these are ethically made or Made in the USA!) INCLUDING my skinny jeans I’m wearing in this post… they’re my FAVORITE!!!!
I love this looks especially the cardigan .
I so need to get on the Carly train. My coworker wore one the other day, and it was super cute!
How fun!! Knotting a dress so it looks like a tunic is a brilliant idea!! Your hair looks amazing here!

Great outfit! This year going out to my cousins to eat whi lives about an hour away. I am making the sweet potatoe pies, my favorite dessert! Happy Thanksgiving !
Love the dress tied up. You always have so many great ideas about making your clothes versatil.
I love the look of the tied-off dress and wearing it as a tunic! That’s such a nice detail for a casual but creative look 🙂
Ahh, I love the idea of wearing a dress as a tunic. How clever! I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family and that your food is tasty and plentiful. Also, I think since you’re cooking the entire meal, your rules are more than fair 🙂
