Our 2016 Family Pictures and Christmas Cards
This is my favorite time of year. I’ve said that a few times. But for real, it is. And one of my favorite things about this time of year is getting Christmas cards from everyone! And I love putting together our Christmas card. I honestly hope this is not a tradition that ever dies out because, honestly, I think that snail mail is a lost art… it’s something people don’t do as often as they used to. But, Christmas Cards seem to stay alive! And I LOVE it!!
I hadn’t even THOUGHT about getting our family pictures done and then in a frantic mess emailed my girl Becky of Rebecca Keller photography and asked if she’d be up for taking our pictures this year. OF COURSE she was amazing, as per usual, and said YES and we set a date! Becky is AMAZING behind the camera and so great at getting our kiddos (and John!!) to smile. Literally my only hope was to get at least one picture of all of us looking. And Becky blew it out of the water! She’s AMAZING. Seriously! Love her. She did our newborn and birth pics with Amos, too!
Anyway… here are some of my FAVORITE images from our session with Becky!!
Love Amos and John looking at each other!
And this year, we got our Christmas Cards from Artifact Uprising! I have LOVED Artifact Uprising’s prints, photo books, and wall art… but this was actually my first year ordering from them for our Christmas Cards! And I could NOT love them more!!! The quality is AMAZING and I love the super chic and simple design of this gold foil JOY card. It really just lets the images stand out and I loved being able to add the little note to the back of the card.
Seriously! The quality of the cards is amazing and I am now also a HUGE fan of their cards.
The gold foil is such a beautiful detail!
What about you? Have you had family pics done yet this year? Have you ordered your Christmas Cards? Have you tried Artifact Uprising?

Molly the picture are goregous. I love this time of the year especially doing Christmas cards.
Your family is adorable and I just want to eat those kiddos up! Christmas cards are one of my favorite parts of the season, both sending and receiving them, and I feel like it’s going to be even more fun once the baby arrives. I just put my cards in the mail today, actually. Your cards look so pretty and if I hadn’t already completed mine, I would look into that company. There’s always next year!
