If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, then you have probably already seen the announcement that I shared this week that I’ve been sitting on for LITERALLY months. I’ve been bursting at the seams to share this (no pun intended). 

I, along with my dear blog friend Carly from Lipgloss & Crayons, have come together an collaborated with my *favorite* ethical clothing brand, Elegantees, to design an entire clothing collection – including the first ever Elegantees pieces for little girls!!! GAHHHHH!!!!

Carly and I have designed 12 pieces for this collection and we couldn’t be more excited or honored to be doing this! (NOTE: what I am wearing in this post is *not* from the collection… sneak peeks are being posted to social media this week and the collection launches May 4th!)

EVERYTHING from the actual designs themselves, to the fabrics, to the colors, to the hanging tags, down to the names of each piece, Carly and I, along with the *genius* of Katie, put so much time, thought, effort, and intention into this collection!

Here’s the thing though… it’s not just a dress. It’s not just a cute tee. It’s not just a matching mommy & me outfit. Every piece is handmade by a woman in Nepal who has been rescued out of sex trafficking. That’s a life that has been transformed and been empowered. AND, because of this collection, they were able to hire TWO MORE WOMEN in the sewing center! That’s life change, you guys. Your purchase really does matter!
