I love these mustard denim jeans so much! (So much so that I even shared a post a few weeks ago with four ways to wear mustard denim jeans) I never thought I would ever like wearing this color and I thought it would make me look washed out, but the more I wear this color, the more I love it. They scream fall fashion to me! I think the biggest key to wearing mustard is to pair it with a contrasting color that balances it out… something like a navy, maroon, or even forest green can help the mustard not feel and look so harsh.
Maroon (or is is burgundy?) is one of my FAVORITE fall fashion colors and this new Aria top from Grace & Lace is my FAVORITE. It’s so comfortable, the peplum is so subtle but really flowy and flattering, and it’s also much more lightweight than you might realize. It’s a great transitional piece for fall and can be worn when it’s a little warmer, in addition to when the temps finally cool down. One of my favorite pairs of jeans was a mustard pair that I had after our son was born, once I had our daughter I was never able to squeeze back into them 🙁 and I haven’t been able to find a pair that I really love since. So the hunt continues! 🙂

These are some of my favorite colors! I love mustard anything. It’s the only form of yellow I can wear, sadly. Do you think that top you’re wearing would be a good top through maternity? The peplum looks forgiving in that area and I’d love to be able to have things to wear later too!

LOVE this outfit so much! Those colours! You look amazing – I wish I could rock maroon (burgundy?). Alas, I’m not a reds person at all. It definitely bums me out in autumn!
