Sabbath
You guys, no real post today. It’s the sabbath. A day of rest. And even though I’m out doing stuff, I’m just… resting.
You should too. Shut your computer. Turn off your phone. Spend time with your people. Spend time with Him.
I’ll be back tomorrow for #YOLOmondays so come link up! It’ll be fun.
There must still be, therefore, a seventh-day rest reserved for God’s people, since to enter the place of rest is to rest after your work, as God did after his. (Heb 4:9-10).
What a fantastic idea! I had no idea it was sabbath, but I did try to stay away from my computer for the last several days. I was spending ALL of my free time on blogs, and I realized I definitely need to find more of a balance.

lol sabbath technically is the first day of the week (Sunday) – i think it may be Saturday in the Jewish traditions. but, nevertheless, it’s really meant to just serve as one day a week where we just rest. you know? just rest! we are go go go all the time and it’s so important to take time to recharge!
Ha ha, oops, guess I need to brush up on my cultural knowledge! 🙂 Thanks Molly!
hahaha no worries, girl!! 🙂 🙂
That is rule number one for my Sundays. It is all about staying in touch and spending time with HIM, family and my fiance. I spend way too much time during the week on work and too much time online that Sunday really needs to be spent on more important people. =) I hope you had a lovely Sunday.
amen, girl! such a great idea! it was definitely a great sunday <3
Such a hard thing to do sometimes…just rest. “Resting” nowadays still means you are plugged into something…computer, cell phone, tv. Definitely need to spend more time resting in His presence!

SO true. resting can be SO tough when you’re a person who is go go go go go all the time.
