  1. You’re so gorgeous you should have been voted “most beautiful”! 🙂 Absolutely love the outfit, and the boots are so cute, where did you get them? Would love to add them to my collection! 😀

  2. Love, love, love the boots and the coat. The whole outfit is adorable (as usual), but those two items really stick out.

Things about me, I don’t actually know how to drive a manual. My dad tried to teach me once, but I couldn’t get it and no one has tried to teach me since. I am a cowboy boot fanatic and if I cannot get away with wearing it with boots it doesn’t tend to end up in my closet (with the exception of workout clothes and capris, but that is only because up until a year ago I wouldn’t wear shorts).

    1. oh man i wish we lived closer so i could teach you how to drive a manual – there’s a little trick i was taught and ever since then i’ve been able to teach like 10 people how to drive!!! 🙂 🙂 i also LOVEEEEE me some cowboy boots 🙂

  3. First of all, I’m mad impressed that your car was manual transmission – all 3 cars I’ve owned since 16 were/are manual transmission and it’s a dying art!!! 🙂 I think any girl who can drive one deserves props.

Also, this skirt is adorable. I love the way you paired it with layers.

Hmm….something you don’t know about me….I dye my hair because if I didn’t my hair would be at least 25% grey. At 31. True story.

  4. I remember my first time trying coffee – I spit it all over the table. haha. I’ve grown to like it, but only if it’s loaded with chocolate or caramel. I don’t drink it often though. I never understood why people HAVE to have a cup every morning.

  5. I love that skirt! And the boots! Honestly, I just love this outfit period. 🙂

However, I still cannot believe/understand why you do not like coffee. But that is a matter on which we can agree to disagree. 😉

Something you might not know about me: I played a Latina woman in Bye Bye Birdie (Rosie) when I was 19. I tanned like crazy (tanning bed and spray tan… awesome combo) AND wore a dark wig. It was AWESOME.

  6. Yay! I love Lilly!!! That skirt is so cute and I love how you paired it with the rich navy and camel. I too am an avid golfer, tho I don’t get to play nearly as often as I’d like. You look darling, Lovely lady!!! ~Sarah

  7. Such a cute outfit!!!! And I am slightly sad that you don’t like coffee because I love it. But I also LOVE peppermint mochas so we are all good again 😉 LOL Seriously though… I do prefer a side of coffee with my sugar and creamer or chocolate or whatever else they can put in there 😉

  8. I love that jacket! There’s a lot you don’t know about me – since we’ve just met. So, I’ll start you off small…

If I could be a student for the rest of my life I would jump at the chance. This being a grown-up thing and having a job is WAY overrated.

  9. hahahahaha they tried to vote me class clown, but I refused…lol I was not with that – although I can totaly see why they would want to – your outfit is great by the way. Also, I neeeeed to have at least 1 cup of coffee in the morning – only when I am at work – otherwise, I dont crave it.

  10. What an adorable Lilly skirt! And I’m not surprised at all that you were class clown because you make me laugh on a regular basis! I can only imagine how much you’d crack me up in person!

  11. love the wee pop of colour with the skirt and love the fun facts too. I speak a little bit of Maori and also been learning NZ sign language for the last year as well. Love it. Thanks for your happy contribution to Wardrobe Weds

  12. My first car was a SWEET Chevy Camaro convertible and I miss her dearly when I moved onto my sensible Prius. I LOVE your outfit, do you ever have trouble finding boots? i am a wide calf girl and it drives me NUTS!

  13. Your blog design and outfit are just perfect! I love that you were voted class clown. I was voted best laugh, so I guess we were meant to be friends 😉
And I didn’t know you played golf. I’m so jealous. I’m SO terrible at the sport.

  14. Such a cute outfit! I love how you made a summer skirt work for fall. And I absolutely HATE black coffee…but give me some sugar and creamer (preferably flavored) and I’m in love. You should try it that way…it basically isn’t coffee anymore after that. 😉

  15. Girl! I am right there with you on the French/Spanish thing. In high school I took two years of French AND two years of Spanish. Then in college I took 2 years of Italian. I don’t remember ANYTHING! It’s terrible!

  16. First of all….when are you going to have an “off” day with the outfits….LOVING everything lately. Secondly, I hate coffee too…UGH…so nasty, I just don’t get how people drink it. This post was too much fun!

  17. Molly, your outfit photos lately have been STUNNING! Just wanted to let you know that 🙂 I can totally relate to you on the foreign language thing. I took spanish for about 5 years and can’t remember anything except the general “how are you” “what’s your name” “i’m good” and it’s so embarrassing!

  18. First of all, adorable outfit – I love the colors together and that jacket is fantastic! Second, I totally had an Escort as my first car too (shared with my sister!), and I took French for 6 years but am terrible at it now too. I really want to get back into re-learning it (and spanish too) actually, I miss knowing another language that well! Something else you might not know about me… I love motown/soul R&B music 🙂

  19. Oh my goodness, I rely on coffee to LIVE! 😀 I drink almost 5 cups each morning… it’s bad.

I took Spanish classes for almost 5 years and I can barely introduce myself either! Not to mention I sound ridiculous when I try to do the accent.

    LOVE your coat!!

  20. Man, I love that jacket. The ruffly collar is just so cute. I took french for 7 years! And like you, I can’t really remember much. I can say random things like “let’s go to the library” or “I like dogs”. Ha. And my husband loves golfing, he got me into it when we first met. I’m still learning, but it’s really the only sport that I’m willing to do… plus I like driving the golf carts around! 🙂

  21. Bahaha I did not know about the escort but it makes me happy….. And one thing you might not know is I secretly wanted Class Clown but got Best Dressed instead (in high school and my sorority)….haha love you friend!

  22. French is such a lovely language! I always wished I got a chance to learn it…maybe someday! I love all the camel tones in your outfit today, Molly! Also, I stink at “regular” golf but I’m a mini-golf expert!

  23. Haha.. I love posts like this. I envy your ability to golf… my husband would probably fall in love with me all over again if I showed any talent in that sport! Sadly, I don’t. Hmm… something about me? I was Class Clown too (holler!) and I can spin a basketball on my finger for a very long time.

  24. Haha MOLLZIE I love it! My first car was a lapis blue (read: purple) Jeep. My friends all nicknamed it The Barbie Mobile. OMG I wouldn’t be caught dead in that thing now!

  25. love the layers and color combo! (and I love brick backgrounds, ha!)

I took Spanish and French too and it totally messed me up. I blame the whole thing on Latin actually! I took Latin in 7th grade b/c it was required, then we moved to a new place and they required students to take Spanish or French in 7th and 8th grade, but I couldn’t do that since I’d had Latin…anyway, it was a mess! Languages and me are like you and coffee, my friend. Oy.

  26. I speak spench/franish too! I took French from 6-12 grade and now I work in a school with primarily Spanish speaking families. I try to speak Spanish and it comes out with a French accent. Oops. Loving your look.

  27. Ooh! I love the layering and pops of color in this outfit!

I guess there is a TON that you don’t know about me since I’m a new reader and all… but to go along with the theme of your list, I took Spanish classes for a total of eight years (requirement in elem. school, choice for high school and college). I remember how to ask for the location of the bathroom and how to count to ten. Because of our travels, we have a very – very – basic knowledge of the following languages, which all get mixed up when I try to speak: Hebrew, German, French, Russian, Hawaiian (?).

And coffee? Girl, I don’t know HOW you don’t like it, but DC is a good substitute.

    Guten tag!

    1. first, thank you so much, whitney!!
second, hahaha i would LOVE to hear a sentence mixed with Hebrew, German, and Russian. That would be awesome!
third, i know, right? everyone always thinks i’m nuts – but hey, it works for me! 🙂

  28. Me amiga, como estas? Que pasa!?(I still remeber that one, we thought we were so smart and use to yell Que Pasa to each in school. such dorks.) Yikes, it has been too many years for me! I took five years of Spanish and then got fairly fluent, but as the saying goes, use it or lose it. (I was always pretty bad about my sentence structure, that took me a long time to learn!) But its okay about the fanish, I speak a mangle version of English where I combine words all the time. (I think the worst time was when I asked some on if they wanted Hammon, when I meant to ask if they wanted Salmon or Halibut. Awful.)

Whew, I always get so off track on my comments on your outfits, it must be because you make me feel so chatty and stuff. (It’s that friendly personality of yours!) I would like to say that if I had pintrest, I would totally pin this outfit. I am CRAZY about those shorts and somehow the brown tights under them with those boots just makes for the coolest chic look! That paisley pattern is lovely and I love the green color.
