Absolutely No Nonsense
I’m so excited to FINALLY share this post! It’s felt like FOREVER since I got these tights and leggings in the mail to style. However, I’m excited to share not ONE, but TWO looks with you today. And yes, the second look I have long hair. It’s not magic.
Anywho.
So, I’ve said before that my personal style is a bit chameleon-esque – in that, one day I’ll wear something totally preppy, the next day I’ll wear something totally country, and the next day I’ll wear something totally biker chick. I like variety in outfits. Maybe that matches my personality. I’m a little all over the place. Just kidding.
Anyway, No Nonsense sent me a pair of colored patterned tights and a pair of colored leggings to try and style.
So, the first outfit I put together was with a pair of deep purple checked tights. I. LOVEEEE. THESE. TIGHTS. Seriously! I have wanted SO badly to try the colored tights trend and this was my first foray into that.
The fit is super comfortable and the color is just right – they add such a pop of fun to the outfit!
Seriously, how fun are these tights?! I can think of like 20 different ways to style them and I can’t wait to wear these all winter.

Now, the second pair, a pair of red corduroy leggings, were awesome when I saw them and then CRAZY tough to style when I actually put them on.
I love how soft they are and the corduroy texture really makes them interesting and different from other standard red, cotton leggings – but the fit was a little off for me at first – right length, crazy huge in the waist. I washed them a few times and that did help.
The challenge with these for me, as soft and comfy as they are, is to style them and make them look fashionable without looking like pajamas or Santa pants. I was really very nervous about them looking like Santa pants.
So, after a few trials and errors, this was a look I came up with and I ended up really liking it.
This would actually be a GREAT casual Christmas party or holiday party outfit. Just in my humble opinion. The causal corduroy tights with the sweater make it comfy, but the leopard flats, gold belt, and plenty of jewelry add that touch of glam. 🙂 I’m still toying around with some other ways to style these leggings, and I’ll definitely share the outfits with you as I come up with them!

You rocked BOTH looks!! I love that our styles is so similar…a BIG ‘OL smorgasbord!! 🙂 Thanks for linking up and sorry for being kinda MIA this week….I am about to lose my mind!! Hopefully, I will be back in full effect after Christmas!! Love ya!!
LOVE both looks! So cute! I have yet to jump on the colored tights train. I really like them, but it’s so hot where I live that I think they wouldn’t be comfortable. I guess I should at least try it and see because I love how they look.

I love leggings! I also love the way the thick tights and printed tights look but personally – I really don’t like wearing tights. 🙁 I have super long legs, so with many of the tights out there, the crotch sits way lower than it should and it’s not comfy. But they look so cute!!!
Haha…santa pants! I think you did a great job with styling them! They don’t look like santa pants at all. And the burgundy tights are super cute…love the texture.

I love that second outfit Molly, the bright red is toned down perfectly with the layers of white and pops of gold! So festive but not over the top! 🙂
Both looks are so awesome! I LOVE the purple tights.
I wear a lot of colored tights and leggings as evidenced by my blog. Target has some great colors!

Love both looks! I think they look so great! 🙂
I like both looks! Definitely not Santa pants! They look great! I think I would have done something similar, long & layered but I love black & red 🙂 and AGAIN I LOVE your shoes! 🙂
Those purple patterned tights are absolutely fabulous. I have no creative suggestions for the corduroy leggings because your look hit the mark: fun but rich colors!

Molly, I love both looks but am absolutely in love with the second! I can see how those could be challenging to style, but you’ve pulled it off PERFECTLY! The winter white on white up top is absolutely gorgeous. And the leopard flats are the perfect contrast. So beautiful, friend!
LOVE your purple skirt with the striped top 🙂

I love love love those pink tights. I am crazy about tights and legging during the winter. I have so many colors and patterns. Red corduroy leggings sound a but weird….but also sound super comfy. I love the way you styled them. Have you thought about a faux leather jacket and black boots for styling? Like a tough Santa…haha.

Oooh, I love the pattern/texture in those tights! And the red leggings don’t look like Santa pants in the least – it’s such a ladylike outfit with the soft whites and pretty necklace on top, but so fun with the addition of leopard and the monogrammed purse (adding one of those to my wishlist pronto!).
The purple tights are so fun! I haven’t tried this trend just yet…I’m a little scared of it but I do love how it looks on you!

I love both these looks, but I’m in love with the red courdoroys. I’ve been contemplating buying a pair from Old Navy, but since you swooned over how comfy these are I’m going to have to check out No Nonsense!
I am obsessed with the skirt and striped tee combo. Way to go!

This post reminded me again of how awesome and sassy you look with short hair! I actually love the cord leggings and think you styled them perfectly!! I’m thinking they could be a good pregnancy staple since that it the boat I am in right now! I would prob try them with black too. Red and black are the colors of my alma mater so I could totally see them as part of a super cute game day outfit!
They in NO way look like Santa pants, well done! I would love a pair of soft cord leggings. Seems like a cozy winter staple!
Santa pants? NO WAY! Those red pants are so cute. YOU did great styling them. That would be such a cute holiday look!
Love the patterned tights!!!! They’re adorable!
