3 Natural & Nontoxic Perfume Brands I Love

I talked about this on Instagram stories a month or so ago, and you went CRAZY! Ever since I switched over to nontoxic / cruelty free / clean beauty and makeup products… one of the products I was heartbroken to give up was perfume. I love perfume. I had a pretty extensive perfume collection, friends. I loved them all.

But the thing is… most perfumes we all know and love are loaded with toxic synthetic fragrances that are full of hormone disruptors, cancer causing ingredients, asthma inducing, etc… The list goes on. Kicking synthetic fragrance to the curb is really important! So I tossed all my synthetic perfumes and was sad.

Yes, I make my own natural perfume with essential oils. I LOVE my oils… but it’s just not the same. So I was on the hunt for the best natural and non-toxic perfumes that aren’t loaded with chemicals… just natural botanicals and ingredients! And here are three of my absolute favorites… tried and tested!

I tried out PHLUR scents last summer and really loved them! They are really unique scents… in a good way! I’ve just never smelled other fragrances like PHLUR before. They have a Sample Set so you can figure out what you like best. Hanami is my favorite… it’s the most “minimal” scent, but still very fragrant. It’s so cozy and comforting!

TWO: Thorn & Bloom

I discovered this amazing perfume brand at my favorite clean beauty shop here in the area called Be Pure Beauty. Thorn & Bloom fragrances are actually BOTANICAL perfumes made entirely with botanical ingredients. My favorite scent, BY FAR, is Wild Rose. I can’t even begin to explain how good it smells. The description doesn’t do it justice. I just want to walk around smelling myself when I wear it. Haha! It’s not overpowering at all… They do have a sample set on their website, too.

THREE: Skylar

Out of the three perfume brands listed here, I have to say, Skylar is probably my favorite. They are the first one I discovered and quickly fell in love… so Skylar has a special place in my heart. My favorite scent is Coral, but honestly, they are all AMAZING. Coral just has the most fresh, floral scent. It’s perfect to wear year round. They’re also light enough that you can layer them to create a custom scent! Skylar has a sample set you can order to try out the different scents and figure out which one works best with your body!
