Thank you everyone for your get well wishes. I finally am starting to feel like a human again. I don’t sound totally human, but I’m no longer totally under the weather. Praise God!
Anyway.
As my wardrobe has been shrinking and my belly has been growing throughout this pregnancy, I’m having to get much more creative with pieces I have in my closet. For example, I absolutely love these oxford shirts that I’ve had FOREVER (another closet staple? yes.) but they don’t exactly button or close.
Well, I’ve since discovered the magic of throwing an oxford on over a t-shirt or tank top just like a cardigan and belting it just above the belly / waist. It really makes for a great transition outfit too as the weather is still cool, but starting to warm up a little bit.
I have a feeling this is going to be an outfit formula for me for a while.
Maternity jeans + t-shirt + oxford + belt + comfy shoes = perfect maternity outfit.
Really, it could be a non-maternity outfit, too. I just happen to have a belly on me right now.
