RECIPE: Quick and Easy Buffalo Chicken Pizza
If you follow me on Instagram, you saw that I posted a picture of my dinner on Tuesday night. This isn’t an unusual thing, really, but I told you that I’d be sharing a recipe. And here is said recipe.
I have had a CRAVING for buffalo chicken pizza for WEEKS and I finally got around to whipping one up on Tuesday night and I just sort of made the recipe up as I went along. I kept it simple, easy, and to the point. This is SUPER hard to mess up and SUPER delicious to eat.
So, without further adieu, here’s the recipe!
INGREDIENTS:
- Ready-made pizza crust (I used Boboli 100% whole wheat. It’s my favorite. Yes, I know you could “make” your own pizza crust, but I’m keeping this EASY)
- Boneless skinless chicken breast (I used approx 1.5 pounds-ish of boneless skinless tenderloins)
- Frank’s Red Hot sauce (I used the wing flavor)
- Ranch dressing
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Crumbled blue cheese (if you want – and for the curious, yes, mine was pasteurized)
- Butter or margarine
- Salt and pepper
DIRECTIONS: Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Gather your ingredients (like so):
In a skillet, cook your chicken. I added salt and pepper to both sides of the chicken while also lightly coating the chicken in the Frank’s Red Hot sauce while it cooked.
Meanwhile, on a pizza stone (or whatever you want to use) put a little bit of flour so that your crust doesn’t stick.
Melt your butter or margarine and then with a pastry brush, lightly coat the crust with the melted substance. Make sure you get all of it, but don’t OVERWHELM the crust. Then, add the ranch to the crust just like you would any other pizza sauce.
Once your chicken is done cooking, remove it from the stove and place in a medium bowl. REALLY coat the chicken in the Frank’s Red Hot now. Then, shred your chicken!
Now, add a little bit of mozzarella and blue cheese. My husband doesn’t like blue cheese so I only put it on half of the pizza for us.
Then, add your chicken and the rest of your cheese!
Then, in your preheated oven (at 350 degrees), cook the pizza for about 15 minutes. Just keep an eye on it and when the cheese is starting to brown on the edges, you’re done!
Voila!! Delicious, quick, and easy pizza! Honestly, from start to finish, this pizza took me all of about 30 minutes to make. SO easy!
Tasty noms.
What do you think of this recipe? Do you love buffalo chicken pizza? Will you be making this anytime soon? What recipes are you loving / craving lately?
Making this tonight! Improvised a little; cut up the chicken into cubes and cooked it in the hot sauce (my fiancee really loves hot sauce!) and then mixed 1/4c each of buttermilk ranch dressing and the buffalo sauce. Also didn’t add the blue cheese as neither of us like it… but hoping this still comes out amazing!
I’m making this now with homemade crust and I can’t wait to try it! Thanks for the recipe 🙂
Molly, I have to admit that I made this right after you posted! It looked so freakin good and I am always looking for new and easy recipes! You were right that start to finish it was only about 30 minutes and so simple! I loved it and my boyfriend was super impressed (I’d never made pizza before and he LOVES pizza, lol!) Thank you for the recipe!

I often make my own pizza. However, I have never made anything that looks this yummy. I think it is simple enough for me to follow which is a plus!
Drooling! This looks SO good! My hubby uses Frank’s hot sauce on all his food so I know he would love this 🙂

I love pizza but have to admit I have never tried a buffalo chicken or any strange kind. I more of a ham and onion kinda woman. You make this look good though and I am thinking I will try this! Thanks for posting.
