  1. Haha, that should be your next post!

Okay, so I might be risking sounding redundant (to you), but have you tried doing some yoga to maybe get things moving along? With my second child, he was a day late and I was all “GET OUTTA MAH BELLY,” so I did a prenatal yoga dvd and there was a hip rotation movement that I swear (I SWEAR) started contractions for me. You sit cross-legged on the floor and rotate your hips in a circular motion. They’ve actually don’t recommend preggos doing it before 36 weeks because it kind of moves the baby into position for birth or something. Anyways! So, I did it and contractions started immediately (seriously, rock hard contractions) and kept on until he was born 8 hours later šŸ™‚

Just a thought! And if you’ve already heard too many suggestions of this nature, I apologize!!! Just ignore!! šŸ™‚

  2. Molly- you look stunning, seriously! šŸ™‚ I love that top. Your hair and makeup look awesome too. Can’t wait to see baby! šŸ™‚ And you’re right- it’s ok that baby is still chillin’ in there. GOD knows. It’s all good girl… Blessings

  3. I hear ya, Molly! The waiting is hard. I’m just about 39 weeks and for various reasons it would be terrible timing if I were to go overdue, including the fact that my husband starts university again in a couple weeks :p So it’s hard not to get anxious about it. Oh, what a journey of trusting God this whole motherhood thing is already!!

  4. You have such a healthy attitude about the due date; I wish I had been that patient and trusting when I was pregnant. You’re a real inspiration and I think you’ll be a wonderful mama!

  5. You are seriously one of the CUTEST pregnant ladies ever! Your skin is seriously glowing. I know you must be ready to hold and snuggle your little baby! Keeping you in my thoughts!

  6. Haha you really SHOULD compile a list of things not to say to someone who is pregnantā€“that’d be so funny! That being said, you’re totally glowing and I’m glad you got to sneak in a date night (that’s on the list of things TO say, right? šŸ˜‰ haha).

  7. What about “Baby Stillman will come the moment you make concrete plans on a specific day next week that you are super genuinely excited about!”? Because that’s what would happen to me. Lookin’ great as always!

  8. You look great! My first son came at 37wks, second son at 42 wks and my daughter came at 40 wks and two days… each child comes in their own time. Take lots of walks and just keep doing what you’re doing. You’re doing a great job!

Habakkuk 2:3 ESV – For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the endā€”it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.

      1. Glad to bring a little encouragement! Thanks for sharing your journey with your readers. Looking forward to seeing pix of the baby soon!

Blessings and prayers for a safe and healthy deliver!

  9. Kristi was reading an article the other day – wish I could cite the source on this, it might relieve some of your concerns – which said that new research is suggesting that the traditional “40 Week Pregnancy” is really an arbitrary average, and that pregnancy can naturally vary by up to five weeks. I know the idea of carrying around Baby Stillman for another month has about zero appeal for you, but just be reassured you aren’t alone. My sister – in – law carried our niece for an extra two weeks, and she was scheduled to be induced before Aria finally decided to show up, healthy and ready to be born. Kristi’s best friend has had three children, who were all born one to three weeks after their “Due Dates” – and the guesswork about due dates involves some highly suspect math, if you ask me, because we can never be certain exactly when the child was conceived to begin with, and 40 weeks does sound pretty arbitrary. It’s a natural process. It will take as long as it takes, and you are being gracious and patient about it, and that’s about all you can do. As long as the experts are confident that Baby Stillman is healthy and happy in there, what’s to worry about?
