High Five for #InstaFriday!
Happy Friday! It’s been a GREAT week – I am seriously obsessed with this weather in NC right now. It is stinkin’ gorgeous outside. F’real, yo.
Here are the moments of the week I’m loving:
- Lilly went to her first birthday party this past weekend! (No, not her first birthday… it was the first birthday of her friend Lorelei!) I was kind of obsessed with her party outfit. I mean, COME ON. HOW CUTE IS THAT? It has a cupcake on the shirt… you know how her mama loves cupcakes. 🙂
- I hit up Target to check out the Philip Lim 3.1 collaboration – I thought it was OKAY… but I did snag that BOOM! sweatshirt. 🙂 Coming to an outfit post next week…
- I am back to work this week. I am blessed that I will be working from home now, but it was definitely a transition trying to balance taking care of Lilly and getting work done, but I did well! I got A LOT accomplished. I’m tired though!
- I love just watching Lilly sleep. I know that’s creepy, but she’s just so dang cute. I can’t handle it.
- Lilly is one month old!! AHHH!! Time needs to slow the heck down.
How was YOUR week?
Linked up with Lauren for High Five for Friday and Jeannett for InstaFriday!
I’m so impressed you’re already back to work! I go back in 3 weeks and I know it will be quite the transition! I’m so torn, on the one hand I look forward to being around my great co-workers again and on the other I adore every single moment with my girl and being away from her for an entire day will be so tough (sigh). One. day. at. a. time.
it’s definitely be a transition! so hard! but it’s all worth it!
Love the cupcake outfit on LIlly. I can’t believe you’re going back to work after 1 month. We get 1 year off here in Canada and i went back after 11 months and i found that hard. Holy. Good luck Molly. Yes I wasn’t too impressed with Phillip Lim except for the purses but they sold out of those before I could get one 🙁
Have a great weekend.

a YEAR off?! that’s crazy!!! i wish i had that much time off, but no dice here in the states.
Hey! What baby sling are you wearing? Do you like it? With my first baby, I tried Moby and just didn’t give with it… now 30 weeks preggo with #2, I really want to give this baby wearing thing a better go this time for more free hands, yet still holding the babe close!

hey megan!! i am wearing a moby wrap in this picture but i also have another carrier similar to the bjorn. i’m not very good at tying the moby yet… it’s taking practice!
What a precious little one you have! And agreed about the Target collection – meh. So enjoyed this cheerful post 🙂

thank you so much, elisabeth!
can i admit i didn’t understand the hype of the philip lim collection at target except for the bags i would have pulled the trigger but they are just a bit too expensive when you are having to buy cribs and all baby stuff 🙂
i really wanted the yellow bag, but no dice!! yeah – splurging just isn’t in the cards anymore 🙂
Yeesssss! I’m so glad you got the Boom sweatshirt! It’s so fun! And Lilly’s party outfit is freaking adorable!
thank you so much, niki!!
That cupcake outfit is TOO cute and it’s totally fitting since you love cupcakes 🙂 Have a great weekend!

Love the birthday party outfit! And I seriously wondered why you were wearing a shirt that said MOOG. Thanks for clarifying! Have a wonderful weekend.
hahahhha i didn’t even think about the fact that the writing was backwards in the mirror. LOL!!
The photo of her all wrapped up is just adorable. She looks like a pea in a pod.

Your little lady is precious! I know what you mean about time flying. My baby-man is 11 weeks now! So crazy, but so fun!
Found you on Insta-Friday link up 🙂
thank you so much, rachel!! that’s awesome! we really gotta slow time down!
Aw… baby first birthday party invite! And she was a stylin’ little lady. Absolutely precious! And, yes, the transition to working mom is difficult, even when done from home. You’ll find a routine that works for you and your little one soon enough, though.
