  1. This is awesome! So funny – I have a bloopers post drafted too (Whitney of I Wore Yoga Pants has it posted today)! I love the stairs photo the most I think!! It’s always best not to take ourselves too seriously – life is too short!

  2. I’m late to this post but I loved it and just had an idea – next time you want to do a giveaway, you should totally use one or two of these kinds of pictures and do a caption contest! Like that last picture totally says to me “If I have to tell you two to stop fighting one more time…just, go play in the backyard, Mommy’s got a headache.”

  3. Happy to know someone else is ill at ease in front of a camera. However, your bloopers are not bad at all. Shows your personality from another perspective. Total fear shows on my face. Maybe I should do funny faces and questionable poses………..that’s an idea!!!!!

  4. I also forgot to mention…when I was little my dad took me to this girl scout Daddy/Daughter dance…and the camera totally broke when we went to get our picture taken.

Blow to the ego there at age 6. lol!

  5. Bahahaha!! I have some good ones of the both of us somewhere…

Oh outfit bloopers…one time while I was still teaching, I came out of the teacher restroom with half my dress tucked into the back of my tights. Fortunately, I realized it just before the other kids started changing classes. Yikes. Can you imagine a bunch of third graders seeing that? Especially mine?

  6. I have about a billion bloopers per photoshoot, but I’ve never shared them! I suppose that I am semi-serious in that I want my photos to look nice and amazingly blog-worthy, but on the other hand I am totally realistic about my blogging capabilities and I love to laugh at myself and attempt to make funny jokes when I have nothing of interest to write about 🙂

I love seeing your bloopers! Your sense of humor is really refreshing in the blogging world!

  7. Bloopers! Love it. I thought the whole photo thing would be so easy. I am so awkward in every single photo I take. Awkward! It’s awful. I’ll take 14 or so photos and be semi-happy with one.

  8. Who doesn’t love outfit bloopers? I have a few too! Sometimes I forget to smile and when my husband takes the photos he’s great about saying something silly to get a real smile, ha! I like the one in the corn fields best!

  9. Love your blooper pics. I typically delete mine as well, but it’s nice to keep them and do a post on that.

    Agi:)

  10. HAHAH! Thank you for this! So funny, I feel so awkward in front of the camera, at least now I know I’m not the only one! Hope your hubby gives your prego feet a massage for V-day! :o)

  11. HAHHAHAA! I think I just got caught reading blogs at work because I was laughing too hard at these photos. I’m glad you posted them because I am so awkward in front of the camera! I really hate doing it. I need to invest in a tripod so I can just do silly things by myself. Happy Valentine’s Day!

  12. You’re so funny – I’m pretty sure 85% of my photos are bloopers and I use them anyway. haha I know 5 years from now I’ll look back on my blog now and chuckle. *fingers crossed*

  13. I love blooper photos! I used to post them more often, and they were some of my favorite posts to do! I, like you, don’t consider myself a typical fashion blogger, and I love the freedom I feel in posting bloopers! Great post! Happy Valentine’s Day!

  14. Your bloopers just made my morning! I haven’t been brave enough to start putting pictures of myself on a regular basis. Glad to know that someone else take awkward pictures too!!
